TGCT is a small community that only caters for the few elite players that have big egos. TGCT don't want to know you if you only play tour mode, and laugh at people who play master mode badly by making a beer league, come on guys how humiliating is that. I know TGCT only want the elite players to play the TGCT really on legend settings because they see themselves as real golf legends quite sad really. What about the other 99.9% of people who play this game don't they exist?. You're sad and depressing. Give it a rest dude. Find a better hobby. |

Any guesses where Even par at Q-school will fall in the tour ranks? I'm assuming it will make a CC tour somewhere given the difficulty has increased quite dramatically for some of us. Probably near the lower CC tours if I had to guess. To get to the top 3 or 4 CC flights or above I'm thinking -20 or -25 will be a good target. |

After seeing the difficulties I won't be playing TGC Tours as I am not capable of playing on master even in the Beer League. It's too bad that there was no consideration for those of us who's ability to play is on Pro. Look I understand how it is and I don't begrudge TGC Tours as I have the utmost respect for them and what they do, how much free time they put in to make TGC Tours what it is a very good tour. I have been playing the tour since inception I have enjoyed it very much. I am sure there many players who feel the same way as it's too bad that us pro players (and I'm sure there are a lot of us) couldn't get a tour for us, but I understand. It's been a great ride and good luck TGC Tours and again thanks for all the hard work that you and all the volunteers have put into the TGC Tour. I feel the same way, Master is just too frustrating for me in the new game, really struggling to enjoy it. (PS5 game play) I got to Plat (and stayed there) in 2k21, but I don't feel I will be competitive at all even in the lower CC leagues the way I am playing now. You got to Plat in those 5 hours you’ve been a member of the forum… Impressive. |

You are actually the only person I've seen here that seems to have a big ego. 99.9% of the people I see are very nice and actually make some semblance of sense when they post.

The default ball was intenially made to be very poor to incourage the use of the paid for balls. I get the concerns about the special balls, but locking societies to the present default ball is worse than letting people use the special balls. It rolls out extremely unrealisticly The default ball turns a 148 green into like a 191. If TGC tours has pull to get a ball lock it should be on a more balanced ball or try to influence 2k to make the default ball less extreme. Making us use the present default ball is not something anyone should be pushing for, it's an intentionally extreme ball. I know lots of folk shooting great scores with the default ball, yes it makes greens quick but that’s why the course setups aren’t as penal It's not about scores. I, like many, could suffer through the default ball and score well. The more important factor is that the default ball turns every green into like a 191 speed or worse... completely unrealistic rollout. 2k never intended the default ball to be widely used, just like they would not expect people to ignore the ability points or fittings and play the basic starting character. I understand all the emphesis on wanting the scores to be more reasonable (think that ship has sailed), but not at the expense of the quality and realism. If there is going to be 1 ball used, it should be a more balanced ball than the current default ball. |

The issue is that any ball that's not the default ball forces players into "buying" that ball, and then also forces them to keep on restocking it as they consume them each round. So essentially, you'd be forcing every player into spending their VC on whatever golf ball would be determined to the the most "balanced", which I am sure would also be a huge debate. Besides, it sounds like TGCT can't get the data on what ball is being used in the API, so it's all a moot point anyway. |
