Sorry daddy, I cant agree. Yes, the pin is tough, so I know what you mean, and after Reading Your shout, of course you can Guess what spot I ended up in? Just left of the green. But it is an easy up and Down from there, if you have practiced that type of shot... If not, well yes, then you might struggle a bit..
I have posted a small video in Instant-replay to see if were talking about the same place.

Hole 12 round 2 is stupid! #justsaying #weekruined Nearly sunk a 27 footer for bird on that one myself, made the 4 footer coming back for par, watched your ghost ball however, highly entertaining

Regarding 12 - I have a weakness for sucker pins. That's one of them. Even if you execute on the approach it's a knee knocker of a putt that you just cannot be aggressive with. The probability of having the ball above your feet for the approach does not make it any easier. Looks like it should be an easy birdie as it is in round 1 - but not so.
There are plenty more places to get caught out over the four days...

Friday pins much tougher than the Thursday ones, or at least that's what my scorecard says.
After finishing my first 2 rounds i initially felt disappointed at a a few missed bitdie chances but quickly cheered up when i looked back and realised i scrambled for very good pars at least 6 times.
Love the course overall. Perfect balance between being scoreable and being challenging.

Now that's tough! And some of those pins in 3 and 4 make 12 in round 2 seem lovely by comparison...

Interestingly enough in practice #12 was one of the holes I never had an issue with, landing each time with a medium putt uphill for an easy par. That being said, my round two practices were everything from a -5 to +7.

My scorecard tells the same. ^^ Day two is intended to be a bit more difficult to make people around the cut line sweat a bit.!Funny enough I have shot my best score so far on day 2 so was not sure if it worked as intended - but seems it does.

I will say that I felt I had to play 3 great shots to birdie, something I dont always feel on courses. This course played similar to how courses play in real life, when you have a scoring club in your hand, (wedge, 9 iron) you have to take advantage. Played like realistic and was a fun first round, will probably blow up on the 2nd rd and hate the course. My one complaint is while it could be realistic to the course you recreated, I think you could have put something other than the building on the 16th. However, very small gripe and once you figure out the course its a gem to play

Birdies were earned, bad shots were punished. And you had to pay attention. And I never once felt like it was luck of the draw with the wind or a bounce that gave me a chance to play. And probably only cursed one or two pins (Hole 13 and I didn't really get along). To me, that's all you can ask for.
