Out of curiosity, other than "I could", why play down 3 on on the fourth hole? No advantages for it... Longer second, more carry, worse angle? Only because then I could hit driver. It was a bigger landing area and with that wind I would have run out of fairway as it pinched in, or run into the rough. Looked a safer option. Appologies to the group coming up three, but I yelled fore. ;-)

But with the 240(ish) 3wood I think I usually had at most a PW there in play testing. Like I said, was just curious. Its always interesting to see what you don't as the designer!

Dangit, you're going to make me play again aren't you... lol, it's all good, but I'm always curious and love interesting courses like this - for this very reason.

Played on pin set 4 and this time hit driver down the 4th. You're right, pitching wedge in! A yard short on 1, the birdie on 2 was special, another long bomb on 3. Couldn't play 7 any better. Unlucky to roll off the back of 10. Red slow onto someone else's green on 11 and unlucky not to make par from a red fast driver off the deck into head high plants. I hit something and bounced somewhere... Aimed for the centre hazard on 12 and black slowed into it. Took a long cut on 13 for birdie... Turned the 414yd 14th into 461yds and played 490 for a par. Lets just say some of the other holes were more challenging... Robbed on 16 and 4 putted seventeen. Asked how did you make a double on 17, "I sunk a 35 footer..."

I'm going to have to give this a watch! -5 with the double on 17 is still pretty respectable! There are definitely birdies to be had out there!

Now you're just trying to be triggering! 🤣 Some of those decisions definitely left you a lot longer shot in than the first play through. At for 17.... Never miss on the wrong shelf. That was why I but that pin there. It's definitely one to hit left on and one or two putt. Trying to stick close can definitely backfire! Enjoyed this playthrough as well!
