Inspired design here, you nailed the environment. Tough AF, but still a fun track. 17 was a killer, a beauty, but a killer. Good luck in the comp this is one of the best entries I've played yet.

I’ll start this review with somewhat of a confession - I had to play this course twice, the second time with changed lighting and weather, which is something I almost never do. I don’t know if I found the default lighting so difficult to use because of the monitor I’m using at the moment, because in theory I liked the sort of smoggy look but it made things so difficult for me. That being said, I’m not entirely sure why you would hide some of the beautiful landscapes with such dark lighting - clear, morning conditions looked stunning at times.
I’m a big fan of the clubhouse and other building work on the course. Really hitting India in that regard, with the sort of Taj Mahal looking temples or mosques (including the clubhouse). I don’t know enough about India to really judge the landscape (my mind would have jumped to a sprawling urban environment rather than countryside) but it did feel very rugged and off the beaten path, and I guess that’s what you were going for so that’s good.
I wasn’t a fan of the textures - particularly the light rough. I found it too close to the fairway colour, but maybe that’s just me.
I felt that I played pretty well, only making my first real mistake on 18 when I hooked it into the water, so my final score of +2 felt very unfair. To me, this was down to the greens - it seemed to be somewhat of a lottery. I hit some absolute darts that just never stopped trickling away from the hole, and when I did hit it close I was often left with a fiendishly difficult 6 foot putt for birdie. Twice I putted off the green from close range - I’ll take full blame for the first one, but second time I looked around and couldn’t actually find anywhere near the pin that would have left me a reasonable putt at birdie.
I’m entirely conflicted by this course - just a little more subtlety on the greens would have done it for me and made me enjoy my round significantly more, but maybe I just need to improve? Anyway, best of luck in the contest!
