Welcome to Buzzard Point
I began this by creating two plots, one in swiss and one in steppe... I created a couple holes on each and settled on the steppe theme.
I built the course to completion running into some major issues with the meter toward the end. I was working on the greens and being color blind I just struggled with them completely.
I asked VctryLnSprts for his help, he freed up some meter, he put down some heavy rough and was going to sculpt the greens but real life stuff got in his way, we begged (kidding) mayday_golf83to come on board and sculpt the greens... He began his work, gave some great thoughts on moving some stuff around , rebuilding several of the original greens I laid down and created one heck of a set of greens on this course. Outstanding work there (hope he will chime in with his thoughts on the greens he has built/sculpted)
Course is scoreable, but you will need to hit some good shots, there are helping slopes and slopes that will make you cuss if you are on the wrong side. A good test of golf I think...
Course locale is a fictional course in a real location.... Buzzard Point is a locale around the NC coast, so after two other name changes I found I really liked this one
Hope you enjoy your rounds, and I couldnt thank Eric and Jeremy enough for all their help and thoughts along the way...Appreciate my DAM brothers

Great work boys! II really enjoyed the look you created with what looks to be Steppe. I like the contract with the green bush and the rocky/sandy parts and loved the undulation. My favorite part of the entire course is the rising waste bunker that blinds the tee shot on the first hole. It looks great in real life and looks great in the virtual one.

Excellent vision here Terry, your atmospheres always shine and you find ways to integrate the course into your artistic vision. Mayo did his usual magic on the greens and this project really came together beautifully. Great job guys!
Oh, and Terry, there’s still time to register for Dream Team. 😉

Insanely good. The dunes and planting really provided an immersive experience. Fairways were generous and the greens were well done. Had fun slinging the ball around this course. 5* and a fave from me. Well done, Terry and nice job by mayday and vctry putting the finishing touches on it.

Got to say over the series of 4 games in the TGC brand, this is right up there as one of the most enjoyable i have ever played. So nice to see a fictional course with lighting you can see every hole amazing Job on this loved every second of my 2 rounds.
I even got a 50xp for an eagle on a Par 4,amazing that showed up on the driveable par 4.First time ever in game for me it's usually a 450 yard plus hole it pops up.

This was awesome Terry. The lay of the land and rolling contours of the fairways. The color scheme of textures and object choices. The environment... Jeremy and Eric, thank you for stepping in and helping Terry push this thing across the finish line. Great effort here fellas!!

Appreciate the words and plays folks... I forgot to add in original post I had originally settled on Boneyard Beach as the name, but realized I didnt have enough meter to plant the dead trees on the beach that make the actual Boneyard beach , boneyard beach Then I found Hammocks Beach around the NC/SC Coast and was going to used it then thought well thats stupid So at the last minute I was looking around on google maps found the name Buzzard Point... I posted to mayday_golf83 and VctryLnSprts I found the name Victor responds with "BUT THERE ARE NO TREES" Mayday responds with "Hold my beer" he stole some meter from somewhere and put the one and only tree over there behind 17 for the DAM Buzzard to roost... I had a rock in there to honor BabyBull but had to let it go at the end.. ha ha... and no Goats or a Moose for my DAM buddies..... ha ha Also I used I think four bushes and one tree(as a bush) to plant the entire course (This is not including the one tree jeremy used) Wanted to see if I could make it decent with limited objects... think it worked out pretty good Thanks again for any plays, thoughts, or otherwise.. Terry

Classic Terry course - natural, understated environment and the perfect place for a relaxing round. I'd have loved some more trouble off the tee, but I'm a sadist like that . Really enjoyed the water work you did in particular and I thought these were some of your best greensites by a long way. Really cool stuff, fellas.
