Job well done for your first submission Gerald and I look forward to seeing how you progress with your next course. I think this would be a great course for WhatAboutAmeobi to stream on Twitch. He and his chat should be able to provide you with a lot of good feedback as well.

Truth in advertising--the par threes definitely left me stunned.

Solid effort for sure. I thought some of the par 3s, especially 9&11, played the same (long with large elevation change) and didn’t allow for any kind of ground game option. The fairways, especially on the par 5s, started way too late and gave no layup option, if the player wanted. And now, with the new swing mechanics, any mishit and the player is either dead in the water or buried in the rough and struggling to make a double. Try to start you fairway at the 175-185 yd mark. A couple of the waypoints off the tee were very short, watch where you put them, as that dictates club selection off the tee (1 for example had me hitting a hybrid on a par 5). Planting and environment were good, bunkers were decent (shockingly I didn’t hit any). Greens were ok, I played pin 3 and didn’t have any issues. Good effort and hopefully others can give more detailed feedback for continued improvement

Very nice first attempt...suggestions...I wouldn't create artificial difficulty. For example the boulders in the middle of the fairway on 14 isn't a good look to me, planting a large tree near a landing area in the middle of the fairway, not terrible, but not great. On a driveable par 4 it's good to male risk, reward, but maybe bunkers to the left of the green or a small pond to one side, maybe even a waste area behind the green if the drive is too far, but boulders or trees or large 9bjects in front of a 300 us par 4..ehh. The super long par 3 isn't a good thing every time. It felt like there were too many 250 yd par 3's. I feel like you're trying to create difficulty with that. Some of the best par 3's are under 140 yards...that goes for real life and in this game, so I would curb that back a little.
Overall, I like the overall look here. The planting is realistic, the sculpting looks fairly good, I like the two options on hole 16, hole 18 is a nice finishing hole, but to touch on what was said prior, the landing areas from the tee box shouldn't be more than 200 yds. With a strong head wind some of these fairways are going to be very iffy.
Anyway, very nicely done, keep at it because I think you're on your way to making some fantastic courses going forward.

Nice design and layout - especially liked hole number 3. Par is very well guarded especially on the par 3's. I felt fortunate to shoot 67 -5 on the #1 pins. Get in a fairway bunker and you are looking at bogey. *Agree with scootmcgoot about the par 5's, especially 18 - almost have to pure your driver to clear the water. *Not sure about the rocks on No. 13.
I am also a fan of Tom Fazio courses. I live 15 miles from probably one of his first designs - Sawmill Creek, Huron, Ohio built in 1974, one of my favs in the area to play. And on Thursday I played his Treetops Premier Course in Gaylord, (state up north). What a beauty that is - extreme elevation changes cut through the woods and huge bunkers - awesome experience.
Keep designing, looking forward to more from you. I will be releasing my first course in the near future - have been working on for months. I need to stop making changes and publish. Bob
