I proudly present to you, my newest creation: El Lobo de las Bárdenas. El Lobo is a brand new golf course carved out of the badlands of ‘Las Bárdenas Reales’ in Northern Spain. At just a hour's drive from the city of Zaragoza, this course offers a deluxe golf experience. The desert links style course offers challenging and engaging golf, while the excellent training facilities of the Bárdenas Golf Academy give players the opportunity to improve their skills. The luxury clubhouse and restaurant ‘El Cachorro’ sits right next to the 18th green, providing an excellent view of the course during a well earned lunch or dinner. On the opposite side of the canyon that runs along the 1st and 2nd hole, players can see the ancient ‘Monasterio del Santo Pastor’, that overlooks the golf course and the dry valley of El Lobo. Enjoy your round on this par 72 championship course, and test your short game skills on the 'El Lobo - Pitch & Putt' track (separately published). This course is my entry for the Design Syndicate Battle between Barbarian Golf Design and The Greenskeepers Collective, hosted by VctryLnSprts and WhatAboutAmeobi.

Nice track. Pretty straight forward, nothing crazy. Nice solid desert style course. Thought the greens were a bit tame but played very well. Environment was well done and overall nice job

I hear you on greens. Deliberately made them subtle, but I can see how that might become just a touch too easy for some.

such a great follow up to amstel plains. Once again I feel like the vision of this course was well realized and executed making it feel nicely cohesive and very realistic. Another great down to earth, subtle course. The sculpting was very well done overall, probably some of the best sculpted bunkers of the syndicate courses I've played through so far.

I actually think dr_golfdesign is one of the better at creating immersive environments with the design tool. Amsterdam and Amstel were fabulous recreations of Dutch open parkland/links style courses.

Hey blueblood. That's such a big compliment! I'm flattered.

Great course mate.. not too difficult but very enjoyable. The environment you create on each course gets better every time.

Smashing course! I loved the environment, hole strategy and your off course work was next level stuff my man! The land movement and object choices nailed the look of a true desert course. Your courses are so realistic and capture the look of a real course. But this course was on another level. Very Well done!

Really loved this course. Best nice relaxing desert environment to have a swing in since Burrowing Owl.
Love how both nines culminate in the area near the water hazard around 9 and greens.
Great stuff.
