2 weeks ago, I was one bad round away from being demoted to CC-L. This weekend, I finished -26 after 4 rounds of the promo event, and put up a -9 in round 1 at Orion Ranch.
My swing doesn’t feel any different, I just have started sticking my partials a bit more than previously and trying to cut down on the red slows.
So, if I get promoted this week, it’s been real and I hope I don’t have to come back here as a member again (cause that would mean I got demoted)

Orion Ranch-satisfying Rd 1 with a -2. Slow start as I had bogey on the first, second and fourth hole (birdie on #3, 5 and 6). Settled on the back 9 bogey free with three additional birdies. Unconsciously holed out a 36 footer for birdie as I was mainly lagging. Currently the cut line is sitting at -5. I'll see what happens tomorrow when I play the second round. Worse case I miss the cut and play in CC-L next week. Not a bad fate as that appears to be the league that I should have been in all along. Good luck to all.

Orion Ranch...Rd 2...started off with a birdie and par for the rest of the front nine save a bogey on #9. Back nine, carded 5 bogies with one lone birdie on I believe #17. Finished +1 for the tourney which will more than likely be a demotion to CC-L. Overall, I'm pleased with the results. I had good tempo, hitting mostly draws for approach shots which were decent giving me birdie looks at 10-15 ft...I just could not take advantage settling for pars. Back nine fell apart mainly due to me pressing the issues and misjudging some key chips. BTW, that +1 score is my best tourney two round score since starting this venture with the new game so I can hardly complain. CC-L is were I really need to be as I can work on my game skills and might be more competitive. Good luck to all in Special K.

About to be relegated down to K after somehow qualifying into J without ever shooting under par. Missed the cut my first week, made second and then missed last week and this weeks to earn my 4th and 5th demotion mark. Already played the next few courses and haven’t fared well so my stay here may be short lived as well. We’ll see over the next few weeks I guess. Good luck and see you out there!

Well it was a good run in K. I have no idea what happened at Roaring Hippo but I have developed the slow swing plane and could not get that corrected. I'm really hating my Xbox right now as I feel like I keep the same tempo and think I keep the same swing plane but nothing consistent.
Finished E for the Promo Event but I'm headed to L
Great playing with y'all!

Finished E for the Promo Event but I'm headed to L Great playing with y'all! Might be worth your while going back to the practice range and recalibrating. Analog sticks can and will wear down and lose their accuracy over time, so it's worth going for a recalibrate every now and again, especially if you notice your shots slipping away from you. And hey, you're only +2 through R1 so far this week. Massive improvement. As long as you don't bin R2, that's a demotion mark gone. Plenty of people shooting double-digits-over so far is gonna drive the cut line down, so I wouldn't be surprised to check the board tomorrow to find the cuts start at around +7 or +8. I just put up a +3 in my first "post-patch" competitive round. Far from my finest work, but not terribly far away from the scoring average I was around, either. Definitely won't be pushing for promotion any time soon, but looking to just keep steady and consolidate my position as a CC-K mainstay, at least for now.

Hey guys, I'm new to all this and new to master difficulty. Missed the cut in a couple tournaments after just scraping through qualifying. But I've just hit -4 and -2 over the first two rounds at Holly Point, which is easily my best ever at this swing difficulty.
I've been working on a course on the editor lately, so I've been playtesting hundreds or thousands of shots, I put the improvement down to that. Practice works I suppose.
Looking forward to the next couple rounds that I'll play a bit later in the week.

Tied-10th through 3 rounds. Think that's my best placement at this stage of a tournament since starting TGC.
Didn't have a great R4 though, so definitely not staying here. Still, great to get rid of a demotion mark, or maybe 2 if I'm lucky.

I'm packing it in boys! I'm tired of having a decent practice round only to follow it up with a horrific tour round. I'm bowing out of CC until I see that they have helped the Xbox group. This is really a PS4 tour now. I'm so inconsistent.
Good Luck to all and keep fighting the good fight.
