sandsaver01 Mike check this weeks pairings. I think they are not correct. Thanks Bill I see. Why don't you do it, Bill. I do not know what the "correct" ones are supposed to be. Basically you don’t play the ones you are against in the pairs match, the two singles you play the first one of the players you haven’t played and the last single you play the other one. So in your example above I play Chris Swenson in my first singles match then I play Ernie Copage in my last match.

The pod of 4 players play the doubles and singles for that week. I believe that is the way it has been.
If anyone see any errors point it out and I will correct later. I will be gone for a bit.

Bill that’s how it is but me and Mike play our doubles game against Chris and David in the doubles but the singles I should play against Yourself and Ernie. We don’t play all four matches against the same opponents I can’t edit the sheet to show you what I mean.

No Les, we are keeping the same two playing the same opponents' two for the week. To me that is easier to keep up with. That may be or may not be different than what we have done in the past. Actually I think we have done it both ways.
Still at work so it will be awhile before I can clarify if needed.
Edit... my time at the moment is spread very thin with my 10/15 tax deadlines. Les would you like to take Paul's old job of presenting the pairings each week? Then you can do it the way you want because I don't have a preference. You would then have to just make sure Mike Ricks get them.
We just need to make sure we are all on the same page before we start tonight. I will be home in 2-3 hours and check in.

If sandsaver01 Mike gives me write access to the sheet I can change it, it’s only the first match that’s not set up right.

Will there be a spreadsheet link at the top of the thread so we can keep track of the standing Kenny I included a link in my post (on page 6) with apparently incorrect pairings. Since I did not make the original post I cannot add the link to the first post. Why don't you just favorite the link I posted or the spreadsheet itself. billybudd0623 I will change the pairings on the sheet to the list you put up. The future pairings will be selected by the Captains so after this it shouldn't be a problem.

I have just Filled out the Google sheet Week 1 Schedule sheet with the appropriate pairings. As you guys post your scores in this thread I will put them in the Google sheet.

Apologies to everyone...it sucks when work deadlines interfere with fun. We are experiencing a little new season growing pains. I thought I would post this on the scoring so we can get it straight before tonight and answer questions. Another helpful place to see would be prior Dirtbag seasons and look at the scoring on those. Regular Season (1) Pairs win will now be worth 2 points to the winners but there will also be a bonus point towards the Individual competition awarded so a Full House will remain at 8 points. A blob is still a blob.(0 points) As usual we will use your normal TGCT rounds and will follow TGCT rules. If you miss the cut you must still play the other rounds, and make sure to let sandsaver01 know by posting your scoresheet. (if you win all four matches in a week you get 8 points) (2) Individual competition will be a straight shoot out between all 16 players. End of Season There will be a Dirtbag cup at the end of the season. We cannot divide up by nations so we will do this. The team that finishes first and fourth will combine and play the 2nd and 3rd teams in a ryder cup style event. Details later. It may be a little confusing now but give it until scores come in to see how it works. Back to work for a bit. If you have questions, ask and someone may be able to answer. We have 7 returning Dirtbags to help answer.
