Any ideas when your second beta will be out? I was going to play through the one from October, but it appears you're doing quite a bit of additional work. Looking forward to seeing the changes! Keep up the strong work!

Keep up the strong work! Hey - hoping to get a second test version out tonight having completely redone the back 9 and most of the externals are now done except for some tidying up and adding in some road network and street furniture. Planting is probably 75% of the way there (which is good as I've got 25% of the meter left!). If you get time to play and give me any thoughts, I'd really appreciate it. I'll drop an update in here once it's out. Cheers

Keep up the strong work! So, having completely redone every single pot bunker on the course, culling a few in the process, I've just about got to a position where I feel the course is nearly there. Still a bit of external planting to do, including cliff-sides and finding a way of closing off the course in a meter-efficient way, but feel like it's nearly there. I've just published a second test version as Leecey RDC v2. If anyone has time to have a play through and give me any thoughts at all, I'd be really grateful. I think that the highlands bug on fairway firmness is still there so it's designed to play with firm fairways. Cheers

Your course is fantastic mate. Nice playthrough from Matt. I'd be amazed if it didnt do really well. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the rest of the planting.

Just finished the course. Love the new back nine, except 17. I didn't feel the short creek did anything but force you to go long. The fairway to the left seemed like too small of a target to do anything with. Loving the town you have going, very on point.
For #7 I played up #8(?) fairway and was able to reach in two with very little danger. Not sure if that's intended or not
Great course!

Great course! Thanks for having a look - really appreciate it. The fairway to the left on 17 isn't really designed to be played down and is more just the natural shape of the land but actually I think you're right that a more gradual slope towards the stream would work better there so thanks for pointing out. On 7 - yes, that's something I'd spotted as well and is a bit of a danger with a tight links routing I guess. I've tried to block the option off with bushes right of the tee but it's really jarring on the eye as it looks really forced. I'd not managed to play it down 8 and still get there in 2 as I was hopeful that it was just out of reach but if you managed it then as you say, it would be very risk free particularly as you'd be playing directly down the length of the green. It's not something I want people to do I must admit but isn't the end of the world as I've played plenty of links golf where I've ended up on the wrong fairway and found a decent line in to the green :-) I'll have another look to see if I can restrict people going down 8. Maybe either adding in a bunker down the 8th to add more risk to going that way (as long as it doesn't affect 8, which is probably my favourite hole) or adding a bunker in front of the green to block the route in from 8. Thanks again for the points - really useful!
