Some other pic. The first is the volcano green on hole 7, surrounded ny the waterfalls complex, it will be reached with a wedge/short iron, after a good (not greedy) tee shot. The second pic is of the punchbowl green on Hole 13, my version of the Hole 4 at Bethpage Black. Third pic os a visual of the Eeen green, with planting more or less done and just details missing. Pic 4 is of the tees complex of the putting/short game range zone, near the clubhouse. Probably i'll release just some other pic before to release the course..i still miss a good amount of work, but i did all the most important things, then is a matter of how much details i want to put in this course, actually...and to playtest properly every hole in every condition.

Some other pic, before the last touches... First pic is a view of the greens of holes 9 and 18, from behind and above the tee of the hole 10. The second and third pics are views of the really short par 3 hole 3 (from the tee and behind the green). This hole is an experiment, but i'm pretty happy after some playtesting. Is one of the few holes with no water in play in some way, but actually if you miss the green the ball can be considered lost. Pics 4 and 5 are views near the clubhouse. The first is inside the course, the second is taken drom the back of the clubhouse. I must still finish the parking, the road and, actually all the external part of the course. In the last 2 pics there is the tee of the par 3 (Redan template) hole 8, Front and back. Although i completed almost everything of what is strictly related with the course, i still miss a good amount of work, mostly about "minor" planting, mainly in the borders of the water, zones that is difficult to fill properly. Furthermore, i still must create the "yacht club" features and i wish also to add some house near the course. Actually, to declared finished the work and to release rhe course..everything will depends about how many hours/days of work i want still to spend on this course Later (probably in coincidence with the publishing) i'll release some information specifically about every hole. At the moment, i'm quute satisfied about this course. As a first work is not bad at all..or at least is better of what i expected, in terms of understanding of the editor. Unfortunally i made a couple of "original sins", at the very start, mainly for ignorance about the limits of the editor..and when i realized it, it was already too late (for example, to create the course at the "sea level", having the water "automathically", has been a stupid error and it created me a great amount of complications and various problem to solve in the shape of the borders zones..but well..next time!)

Wow Vinny, you've done a lot!
For someone who loves real courses so much, this is quite an exaggerated golf course! ð
But seriously, looks like you've achieved some good things here, and learnt a lot about the designer. Well done ð

For someone who loves real courses so much, this is quite an exaggerated golf course! ð But seriously, looks like you've achieved some good things here, and learnt a lot about the designer. Well done ð Is absolutely exaggerated!! But not only graphically (and graphically is still full of flaws, in every case. Is always a first course..you'll see what i mean if you should ever play it..). As i already said, this course is an experiment on every point if view. I'm realizing this course trying to offer a serious, really tough challenge but with no need to use necessarily strong wind or super firm conditions to calm down scores for who plays with all aids on. A course that requires shot shaping, precision, strategy and putting skills, especially using master clubs. I don't know if this goal will be actually reached, but i would be really happy, if i should ever to realize this premise. In future, when/if i'll be a bit better with the editor and in the understanding of architecture, i really wish to try again to create this kind of course, a really tough venue for great tournaments..but just with less graphic redundancy and stylistic experiment But first, i wish to create some good RCR.

Definitely wasn't a criticism my friend ð But i was not thinking it was a criticism...at all..or at least, not in a "bad" way..of course i had no doubt on it! I just like to explain what i tried to do (if i did it well..is totally a different story ), cause considering how much awful i am on graphic arts, i'm really amazed i'm seriously creating a course (Furthermore, i know you would support me anyway..and also criticisms would be "soft", or in any case never made to hurt, so i couldn't ever be worried or offended in some way by something you say)

I'm going to release my first course, Trinacria Y&CC. Someone could give me some advice about the best default setting about firmness and speed of greens? I wish to publish it with fast greens (177) to give some room about setting. Is ok?
