Hi folks.
Doing some final tweaks on a course and should have it released in the next day or two. Because I'm completely out of original ideas and the fact my hands completely lock-up after 45-60 minutes of designing, I've decided to re-vamp an old course (MacDougall Links). The old course was probably my least popular course in the past few years, but I always liked the way it played so I decided it was worth a face lift. Changed to the countryside theme, re-layed all the surfaces, removed a lot of unecessary bunkers & re-sculpted the entire course. A few holes were shortened, a few were tinkered with more than others, but for the most part it's the same course. The holes are a little more spread out than I would like, but the routing is solid otherwise (I think). I think it has a nice, realistic feel to it.
I find it a decent challenge, thanks to some tricky greens and tough pins placements, but I hardly play anymore so I'm not the best judge.
Because of the previously mentioned hand issues I cant spend a lot of time on planting, clubhouse and other beautification. Not going to stand up to the incredible work being pushed out nowadays, but will hopefully offer up a nice round of golf.

Published. I would like to reiterate:
"Not going to stand up to the incredible work being pushed out nowadays, but will hopefully offer up a nice round of golf."
I'm assuming there is a contest going on, play those first and just keep this one in mind for when you've run out of courses to play. No need to adjust your socks, this course wont blow them off.

Great to have you back. I took a break from designing some time ago and when I came back I didnt see you designer or posting much. Didn’t know what happened but I’m happy to see your back and designing whatever your hand will let you. I just wanted to say thanks, your tutorial videos and watching you stream while designing a course taught me a lot. So thanks again glad to have you back.

I always wanted to help other people get started in the designer. Never thought I really found a effective way to do it, but maybe I was wrong.

Found an old TGC2 play through video posted on YouTube that shows the "before" version of the course:
Not sure what I was thinking with those planted mounds in the middle of the fairways, lol.

Mr. Scarpacci, my old friend. Miss having you around the community. I'm expecting a PC to arrive by the end of the day on Friday. Hope to see you around a bit more, even if you're not coming up with newer ideas. This community could use your course design insights, particularly myself, now having the ability to share files. Hope to hear more from you soon, my friend.
