1st round was a weird one for me. Missed a few birdie putts by millimetres early on, was sitting at -3 after 9, felt like it was going to be one of those weeks where things weren't going to go my way, and then the next time I looked at my scorecard it was the 18th hole and I was somehow -10.

I'll say I enjoyed this week. Kind of a hard course to screw up on too much, so it was a good choice to have higher winds most of the way. I played bogey free all week and really recall only two holes where I had to salvage it with a difficult par putt. Nice to see a couples holes on the back 9 that offered up solid eagle chances, in the right conditions. Felt like a nice balance as the course wasn't a total pushover, at least not with beginner clubs but did have some great scoring opportunities as well.

Decided to try and get my rounds in late last night. Tee’d off at 1am which was stupid and proceeding to get a double on the first hole. Took me awhile to get going and my putting was terrible. Finished last round with a poor effort. Good course and a good test with the wind.

Looks like another impressive win Mark. Consistent solid play again. You’re on a roll!

Thank you. My putting has been really good recently. I think that's the key, assisted by the occasional chip in, which always helps.

Looks like I've got a solid chance to hang on for my 2nd top 10 of the season. I guess the bigger achievement is that I managed to stay with 5-10 shots of some of the big names on the Tour.
