Because we were chatting about the bunkers and things, here are a couple of useful videos:
MattF's Joy of Planting - I think he likely does bunker stuff in the first episode:
Reeb's Course Guru on Sculpting - probably the single most helpful video for me after the Canuck tutorials:
And Andre's bunker tutorial:

When it comes to assigning a grade to each course, "Tour Worthy", " Accepted", Not Accepted" a lot of it really comes down to each individual reviewer. There are obviously a few things we do look out for in terms of planting, sculpting, flow of the course, pin placements, scorability. And within each one there are a couple of different things like repetitive boring planting, surfaces and the textures, bunker placement & scultping. With sculpting it can be things like the tee boxes being flat, do the greens offer a decent challenge without being OTT or essentially flat. Looking out for how shots react to the way the designer sculpted the course, is it unfair, etc. There's a lot to take into account. If it's just an autogen or we feel like the designer rushed the process without really caring much about the smaller details, it will usually end up in the not approved section. The standard of courses that is coming through the database is so high now that a Tour Worthy course from a year ago, might only be "approved" if it was submitted today. There are courses, better than the first one I ever had approved coming through that aren't being accepted. For me, and how I would go and make my decision and I know a lot of the other reviewers feel the same is, if the course ticks all the boxes, they've taken great care with all the intricate things and designed a technically solid course, it's suitable to don't a tournament in my eyes, I ask myself "Is this course memorable?" "Does it make me want to come back and play again?" Maybe some others might want to chime in on what their processes are for it, hope this helps Gary. I also had a course on CC-A last week, but have much better courses in my opinion that haven't hosted any. cathalos1991, lessthanbread , b101 When a course is first approved to be part of the TGCT database is it deemed to be either "Approved" or "Tour Worthy" at that time and not rated as "Tour Worthy" at a later date once it has made it into the database?

Correct - one off review
