Just about every comment I’ve seen on this thread about not using pro clubs has come from a PC or PS4 user.....not surprised

I can use the master clubs but not good enough to play in a cross platform competition

Just about every comment I’ve seen on this thread about not using pro clubs has come from a PC or PS4 user.....not surprised Les, I am fine if the main tours went to it, just as long as there is a Masters Tour like there is a Beginner Tour now. I, personally, have no interest in it. I understand the want of a more balanced playing field, but there will be those who prefer the challenge of Master Clubs.
It isn't being blind to the imbalance between platforms... it is that I do not wish to use them. Simple as that.

Looking at option one of this poll I get why it is polling low. Consider that this tour has very little XB1 representation and probably quite under-represented for PC as well. Putting this thread in the PGA Tour is going to have a bias towards Master Clubs because that is all we use in competition. The most bias, IMO, because we are the furthest removed from the Challenge Circuit where clubsets are even an option. If OP fadgewacker wanted to have a better cross platform comparison with enough representation on all three platforms while still trying to keep the fields of similar caliber then looking to ask Euro and KF members to participate might be prudent? I would actually look at some of the top Beginner Tour members as well as there are some PGA level (*cough cough* Mark Custard) players there. I would also argue that Pro Clubs would pull some players in the CC-A ranks up to the level of some of our top Masters Clubs players. This thread could, and may still, fall into a back and forth on the pros and cons of going to all Pro Clubs across the tours. The question to ask ourselves if we are to treat this option with a serious attitude is this: "Are the inherent flaws in having a Pro clubs only tour in sum LESS than the flaws of what we currently have?" I think that is what Admin would have to ask themselves in order to evaluate this, but that is just one members' opinion.

If Mark Custard (beginner tour -55) is PGA level then he should be playing on the PGA tour.
Just like how Mark Johnson (beginner tour +34) should probably be on the CCZ.
89 shots between players on the same tour. Dearly me.
Either;
A) Let players choose whatever clubs they want and let scores be the defining factor for what tour you are on.
Or
B) have three different tour ladders (masters club PGA Tour/pro clubs PGA Tour, beginner clubs PGA tour).
The way it is at the minute is a bit wishy-washy. My preference is option A and has always been but there we go.

Option A actually makes the most sense. A bit of the survival of the fittest or whatever. But I'm an ugly libertarian American who loves free markets and rugged individualism and letting people make their own choices.

Now why did you tag me Bob? I was just piggybacking on what oswinner said because I agree with his logic and philosophy. I was offering support to oswinner. Don't assume I want to argue.

There are two threads on this pro club debate that totalled 140 pages? And still it's not solved or whatever. There has to be a right and a wrong answer just like in politics but for some reason it never ends. Oh, and I despise talking political nonsense so that wasn't a bait. Just a metaphor.

Oh, it's been done to death in the past (over 2 years ago), but for very different reasons. Previously, it was about the freedom to use whatever clubs you want, regardless of tour. The point of this post was, that now, after we've learned how bad the masters swing is for a) manipulation (various ways) and b) cross platform tempo parity ,whether or not anyone had a different stance, or would be interested in an experiment to see how things fared with us all on Pro's (outside of the main tour events... a special event).
Seems like most on PGA, who are mainly PS4 players > PC > Xbox, aren't interested in that, which is fine.
Truly, I do not want to play the game on easy... exactly the opposite, but I am interested in playing the game fairly, for the reasons in point a) and b) above alone.
I'm all for the segregation of tours with Masters only on the pros, exactly as it is now - assuming that all systems behave equally, and the swing isn't retarded in regards to how it can be manipulated.

I would bet my bottom dollar that if things had been the other way round and Xbox had the easier swing there would be just as much if not more of an outcry. It just seems like some people just don’t want to change the status quo.
