This week on The Korn Ferry, the clue is in the name. No, not trade, the other part of the name, winds. How could I put a course called Tradewinds on the tour without four rounds of very high winds, it just makes perfect sense. I mean, on a night out, you would not go into a building called strip club and expect to find a flower shop, unless you have some sort of strange fetish but each to there own. This weeks designer Armed and Dadly might not be as well known to some of you but Kenny has produced a worthy tour course. There are a couple of long holes on the course which is perfect for a little practice for the one big money event we have during the season coming soon, kind of like a Korn Ferry major, where we play a course that’s a whopping 8000 yards. So I do advise everyone to make sure to carry a 2 wood over the next few weeks. Good luck and have fun.

72 holes, 1 highlight.
Had the holes been cut half an inch larger in diameter, i'd have shot -72. At least. As it is, limped home with -31. Won't matter if cut goes below -14.
Round 1, got to 9th tee sitting on -1. A solitary birdie on the back of 2 putts on the drivable par 4. Seven regulation 2 putt pars. Then hb threw the switch, suddenly I started hitting them real close. Shot -10 from 9-17, including a missed 7 footer for eagle on 16.
Round 2, made the ace on the posted video wooooot, -1 for the rest of other 17 holes, gnnnnnnnn.
Rounds 3 and 4 I just played 'cos my pc was on and the game was running.
I enjoyed the course, just could not buy a putt all day long. Good luck all

Fifth week here; three missed cuts and a top-10...
So, on to this week: lovely first round in which I eagled the short par 4 and ended up with -13
Second round.... if only I could handle VF/VF... 😂😂😂 Bogey - ACE - par train until 11th, a few birdies, bogey after missing a 1 meter putt on 17 and ended up with -4
So, -17 halfway; really hope it’s enough to make my second cut.
Now where is that high wind???
Best wishes Frans

Now where is that high wind??? 4th round, wind circle fills to more than half full for the most part. Mind you, 10-12 weeks in and I still haven't learnt to 'read' the wind sock, I just go by 10 mph irrespective. -17 should make the cut I think!

-13 through round 1. -9 through round 2.
Definitely happy with that and will play the other two rounds another day. Nice course that suits my eye.

Started of with -10 on round 1. Second round was a huge slap in the face and back to reality. Even par and a missed f****** cut again. So many missed puts and I even threw in a wet one trying to be too aggressive on a par 5. Well, well... see ya next week...

Even if temporary, it’s nice seeing my name atop the Xbox leaderboard after each round. Benefit of playing on Sunday.

Well this one certainly gets your attention right off the bat, that first tee shot is pretty terrifying for a right hander! Going for my 6th made cut in a row this week which would put me above 50% for the first time. Through 2 rounds, jury is out. Played nicely in the first round but made a mess of the drivable par 4 and the reachable par 5 after it for a couple of pars, missed my obligatory 6 footer, 3 lip outs, one of those rounds. Not unhappy with a 63 but it really should have been better. The very firm and fast caught me out on a couple of greens in the second round for dropped shots, still had a decent front 9 but with the exception of a tap in eagle on 12 couldn't quite get going on the back. 65 for -16 at the cut. Could be right on the line... Good luck all, nice course again

Relatively happy with -9. Started out with a tap in birdie on what turned out to be the most difficult hole, messed up on 7 and 8 with two 3-putts and birdied the last 3 to get to a good score. Overall just pushed a little too many shots (slightly) right and took a little too many putts to go really low. GL all its a fun course

Good morning,
well I think my made-cut-streak is about to finish at 3. After having a look at the early leaderboard I set myself a target of -8 for each round. I reached that goal in a photo finish in round 1 thanks to a good back 9 (-6) with eagle-birdie-par on the last three holes. In the second round, it was looking good in the first half, but then my putter left a little too early. Missed an easy birdie and an easy par on back-to-back holes, which got me out of sync. Finished that round with a -6.
Besides missing many downhill putts from around 10 feet (I'm normally pretty good at these), I'm ok with that score. I don't think I'll make it into the weekend though.
See you next week! Good luck

I just played 'cos my pc was on and the game was running. This made my day. I imagine you sitting there looking at the indicator light, then at the screen, then at the input device.

I'm only here to troll Jamie! Ah, the artist formerly known as Daxon, welcome to the cheap seats! I'm afraid you'll have to join the back of the line mate, I could probably squeeze you a little troll time in next week? up mup kupen nup and Crazy Croc, I wouldn't lose all hope on -14, it's very hard to predict the scoring in round 2. Very little wind but also very easy to leak chunks of shots away on this course, especially with glass greens. We'll have a better idea tomorrow morning...

In the hope that -16 is safe for two more rounds I've finished up. 3rd round I played really well except for an infuriating 4-putt double on 11, made even worse by the fact that my birdie putt looked in all the way and just grazed the edge. 3 shot swing right there, but 2 eagles made it a bit easier to swallow. 4th round started with a bogey which to fair, with that wind on that hole will be quite a popular score. Managed the wind pretty well from there, was wondering when it was going to show up! A symmetrical 63, 65, 63, 65 for a -32 total, honestly no idea where that's going to get me? ksmith851, 2 days later you're still top 👍
