Turns out, I'm impatient. Wanted to wait for end of WCoD but 3 weeks is a long time to sit on a finished track. Nestled amongst a coastal dunescape, this course was more discovered than built. The property is dominated by sandy bluffs, one seasonal riverbed, and multiple dry washes. Holes play up dunes, over ridges, and down into valleys as they crisscross the property. The course itself is only 7,100 yards, but the challenge here is not off the tee. The course features a devilish set of greens primarily defended by contour. Look out for the bunkers - the ones most in play are frequently surfaced with fairway on the golfer's side so that his ball can roll right into it. Good luck and enjoy! Note: The Blitz @ Matador, an 18-hole putting course situated high upon a bluff overlooking #5, #17, and the ocean, will be released shortly following this release. Check out its WIP thread here: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/21652/blitz-matador#9: #4: #1: #14: #13: Scorecard: Some other notes: - Course was built as I was reading Tom Doak's book on architecture, so the course holds a lot of the tenets of his work. - I understand complaints about #13 but I love pitch-shot par-3s and just had to build it

THE BLITZ @ MATADOR
As far as I am aware, this is the only course like it in the game. This is a self-contained 18 hole putting course inspired by Thistle Dhu at Pinehurst & The Himalayas at St. Andrews, among others. It is far from perfect, as it is an experiment. DO NOT EXPECT A TAME COURSE. It is built to be wild. Your second putt may very well be longer than your first. I tamed the green speeds to 6.6 on the scale (because the course is devilish, of course) so it doesn't play too crazy. Also, heads up for tee markers in your way, things got a bit cramped. Let me know what you guys think because I plan on making more of these alongside my future courses and want to know how to improve the idea.

Hopefully Eric inspired you to be a better designer than him....lol. This looks sharp man and I understand why you want to get it out there. I am a fan of you previous designs and cannot wait till check this one out. Be in touch.

So this is the follow up to Olde Mill?! I'm in! Next design break I take this thing is getting fired up. There are a few other putting courses on the same plot as real courses. Privateer Point by Digital Bunny has one and Cypress Dunes by Petty has one that I can think of off the top of my head.

This course is magnificent! Great job man, you have serious chops in the designer. Such a fun track, and I’d love to play this 4 times in a row on CC-Pro! - catcherman22

you took a slightly overused concept lately (Coastal dunes) and made it very unique. Very aesthetic, and it can play tough (with the narrow fairways and small landing areas on the greens). I loved the strategy and thought required off the tees. good job here.

Nice job here bud, a very unique design, loved the planting and layout. I managed a very good round on Pin1 with high winds and VF/VF greens. My only issue and it is minor is the Tee boxes were not flat, not that it affected my drives and I noticed there are no paths or bridges to get thru the dunes to get to the FWs, like I said very minor. 5 stars and a fav...

Appreciate the play and kind words, have to admit I completely forgot the bridges.

Played this last night in alternate shot and you can catch the VOD on twitch via rhin04life (maybe 1 hour in) or moneyman273. Another outstanding publish which was very well received by all of us who played. Instant fan of your work sir.

Inspired by jwtexan ... Shameless thread bump time! Rookie. You gotta give the people some kind of meaningless info to go along with the bump. Come on now, go study the best like I did. VctryLnSprts mayday_golf83 b101 master bumpers all.
