Damn Virt. A 56? You single handedly won or tied 16 of 18 holes. Impressive!! Even if I had made my two eagle putts and not have a silly bogey on #1, we still would have lost, that is how good you shot.
In the end, Hirioto and I complimented each other well and shot a combined 56, but Virt and his partner ended up with an -18 (52) which was the best 18 holes BB score of everyone by one stroke. Hard to beat that.

My singles round started off well enough, but the tempo issues started on hole four. I can shoot weeks without a VS downswing and suddenly I had two in one hole. Flops were suddenly going F/F and 20 feet past the hole and pitches were S/F dropping 20 feet short. I even restarted the machine on hole 9 but something was wonky. Never could get it back under control. It has been a while since I felt so completely unable to control a swing during a round. GG Smoothee

More singles updated (all but 2) and it's enough to crown USA the winners. Congrats guys - was much closer than our first Presidents Cup so I want to commend everyone on a great event. Hope you all enjoyed the format - we'll reconvene at the end of the season for the Ryder Cup.
Will be trophy cards handed out in the near future for all participants.

Well played to all involved in this! It was an honor to play, and I am sure all that had the chance to do so agrees! These team events are among the best thing TGCT has to offer, win or lose. Thank you also to the team captains and assistant captains along with TGCT staff Doyley to keep this thing running smoothly!

I'd like to congratulate both teams on some great playing and tough competition. The international team played great and the battle was tight throughout as it should be. The captains and co-captains did a wonderful job of matching up the competition for a ton of close matches coming down to the wire. Thank you to Doyley and everyone that helped putting this together. It was a blast to be a part of and to compete against the best golfers TGCT has to offer. This was a very fun event to be a part of! Thanks everyone!
Glad to be a part of the winning team! Go USA!
