This week on the Korn Ferry we head to Canada to play the fantastic Silvershire by whodatmatt34 . This I think could be Matts first course on tour, which is always great to see and great for us players to have yet another designer producing quality courses for us to play. Unfortunately, with it getting close to Christmas, I have assignment deadlines approaching so I can’t do a longer write up, so good luck, have fun while I go and make water. Hmm that does not sound right, let’s try that again. Good luck, have fun while I go and animate water for a animation assignment.

Good morning fellow Korners,
once more, I succumbed to my urge of immediately playing the new week's tournaments. I had some additional time to spare after my dirtbag rounds yesterday evening. And it wasn't even the case that I was particularly on fire. I simply had to go on and gave the first two KF rounds a try.
I finished with two unspectacular rounds of -8 and -9 for a -17 half time score, and although I knew that I hadn't killed it, I somehow felt quite confident of making the cut this time, even more since I didn't perceive the course as being particularly easy.
Then, the early Monday morning leaderboard shows up, and what a discrepancy it was. Everybody seems to have shot the lights out on this course! Phew. I guess I have to live with some suspense until Thursday, but as of now, I have a feeling like I might be one stroke short of the cut.
Let's see next week if I have learnt something and manage to sit tight at least until Monday.

I'm through 2 rounds. First round I've never been so disappointed with a 61! A couple of lip outs, a couple of VFs at bad times and a couple of silly mistakes. One of those rounds where I really felt I should have killed it but didn't take the chance. Second round was a right old mixture. Birdied the first but then a VF cost me a shot at 3 and then I decided to play tippy tap around the pin at 4 to drop another. Played ok from there to get to -4 on the 13th tee but I know I'm probably going to need a few more. Another very fast in to the water, double bogey and back to -2, -13 for the tournament, missing the cut, STUPID GAME!! Get to the long par 5 14th, lost my head a bit and hit a terrible second shot in to the heavy rough. Got a bad lie about 75 from the pin, line it up and hit a slow. AN EFFING SLOW?! I haven't hit a slow in two rounds! Oh but hang on, that's looking alright, it's looking better than alright it's in the hole for an eagle! BEST GAME EVER!! 😂 That was the shot in the arm I needed, birdied 3 of the last 4 to finish with a 65. I did miss a fairly easy eagle putt on 17 which I hope doesn't come back to bite me... 61 and 65 for -18 at the cut. The second round was harder than the first so my gut feeling is that will just be enough but I'll certainly be keeping a close eye on the leaderboard for the next few days. Good luck everyone! Beautiful course

Done 2 rounds. Played the 1st yesterday, intended to load cc-pro for my Dirtbag rounds, but loaded the Korn tour by mistake. Saw no numbered wind speed read-outs and thought the scheduler made a mistake, took me a whole round before I realized the mistake was on my side Scored -11. Played my 2nd round today, was as if my hand was disconnected from my brain. My coordination was a bit off and I missed probably 3-4 expect to make putts and a few pushed or pulled approaches on wedges. Sunk maybe 2 that were bonus putts and it took an eagle/birdie finish to score -10. Good luck all

Glad I waited to play the last two rounds, that would have been a waste of time! At least I'm not going to be relying on people not finishing to avoid a red mark this week. Every cloud...

Rounds 1 and 2 done, sitting at a sorry ass -21 after two. smh. Another week without a win... but that's nothing new Will see if that -21 holds the cut (it should) since the line is at -20 right now with a couple of people still to play.
