Pepsi Max for drink. In terms of what I listen to, now our beagle is getting on a bit, she lies on the sofa a lot next to me when I get chance to design. so it's her snoozing/snoring depending how deep her sleep/nap is.

I think I speak for everyone here when I say we'd all appreciate pictures of your good snoring doggo

BIG podcast guy here, so I'll usually have Chasing Scratch/No Laying Up/Trap Draw playing while I'm designing (late nighter here too...shoutout to the day job) Drink wise, LOVE the amount of Rum and Coke replies (that's my beverage of choice) otherwise I'm a big fan of sweet tea if it's a weeknight. Also love to keep a bowl of cheez-its or goldfish crackers nearby for some light snacking. Savory over sweet for me. For you Rum guys; Give spiced rum and Ginger Beer a go. If you're feeling fancy, chuck a slice of lime in with the ice. You can thank me later.

For me, it's the Joe Rogan podcast (3 hours a sitting so perfect).
At the weekend it's a Belgium beer called Kwak (8.4% so just 1 or 2) or a Single Malt

For me it starts with half a joint, smoking the whole thing would just put me to sleep and then usually a bourbon with whatever decade of music I feel like listing to on Spotify but mostly old Genesis, Yes or Jethrotull...

Design sessions provide some of the most relaxed and creative experiences, adding your preffered food, drink, music or other atmospheric favorites makes it what it is.
Drinks wise it's almost always craft beer. My preffered style of beers is limitless, I love IPA's, NEIPA'S, stouts, porters, pales, sours, DDH, wheat and many more. If I'm having a night off the beer I'll go with rum and Pepsi. Currently have a few bottles including, Havana Club, Kraken and Appleton Estate.
Music wise I've never outgrown my youth which was going to drum n bass raves every weekend. I still only really listen to DnB as i can't stand mainstream music nor have I ever been able to get into anything older and before my time.
Food is only usually snack things like crisps, nuts, cheese basically anything savory.
Podcasts and educational videos are what I listen to mostly even more so than music. It's always economics and politics with some philosophy now and then. Most of what I listen to is some good old Marxist/communist propaganda from RevLeft Radio, Proles of the round table and the great Dr Richard Wolff an American Marxist economist. Sometimes I'll veer off into Joe Rogan territory if he has a good guest on or the podcast is political/economics. The conspiracy stuff is just bizzare...
Good times 🍻

Have you guys ever tried brain.fm? Check out that site - amazing science behind it and it works. I put it on "creative" mode and the undertones and sounds really help the brain engage! Thanks for getting me addicted to brain.fm at work and while designing... been using it the last couple days and my trial has now run out. Typically I go with podcasts (usually of the golf variety, no laying up, clubhouse with shane bacon, shotgun start, etc.) while designing or playing. I've found that music actually throws me off while playing. Sometimes I'll swing to the beat like a dumb and get some pretty wild tempo.

I used to always listen to the same 30 minute long album during PGA rounds on super low volume. Helped calm my nerves and pace my rounds the way that I found helped me the most.
