My lines are straight on most shots, but when lofting any slight off center misses the green.

Pretty much the same mate in my experience... taking it to a “thin line” in both directions produces pretty mad results 90% of the time. The worst thing is not knowing which way it’ll go.

I'll give it a go later and see how good/bad/indifferent the results are.
Bear in mind it'll be like learning to ride a bike again, so I'm not expecting every shot to be a full swing. And if it takes away the fun of the game, I'll either call it a day, or revert to what I was doing, which is the more likely scenario. Whilst I appreciate people don't like me as a human being because I short swing, I'm not getting results like davie mcflick or flickali potapenko, so I don't see why I'm getting more grief than them.

I’m a full swing player (clearly given my scores) and I never know whether my shots are going left, right or straight. When I use loft (up or down) it’s obviously a harder shot and exaggerates the miss (left or right). All the fu...flickers would defo benefit when lofting either way from a flick swing but clearly benefit overall hence why they’re using it! At least that’s my logic.

Or, if you read the rest of the thread, you'll see that some people, myself included, get a mix of both thrown in, and can't get short or long on demand...

I don’t think anybody’s asking you to change mate, but give it a go so you can see what folk are on about. It’s quite odd to start with and it took me a while to get full lines with any consistency. I still get a few short lines a round myself as a consequence of the years of swinging a certain way. Davie Mc and Flickachenko... they’re not exactly engaging are they? I don’t see you’re getting more grief than them, but I might not be party to it. Terrible human? For short swinging? You’re a stand alone wanker aside from that 😂

I never felt players should change their swing. Obviously HB wouldn’t acknowledge it.

Incomplete swing lines result in a random power percentage less than 80. Problem solved. 😎😎

You guys are starting to make me feel guilty. Stop it. Crawsey must be defeated. If, I mean when, he fails api for a third time and gets banned here, I'll go back to whacking the plastic. And I meant it's like throwing a knuckleball as in I don't manipulate the swing lines, I just flick and whatever short/full lines happen happen. I even sometimes get recoil lines when I hit the plastic. I think the joystick is only in contact with the plastic for not even half a split second probably. I'll mess around again with new techniques but the key to a full straightish line is to barely make contact with the plastic and let go. Having said all that...Again. Crawsey must be defeated.

I have no more fight in me. I don’t say near as much as I used to. I’m happy knowing I have some peers is all. Rock on! Edit: what does get me worked up is the asshats over at HB who won’t even acknowledge an issue.

Pretty good (for me) this week... -10, -10, -11, -12 = -43 Not enough eagles.
Played about with my putting stroke and managed to square it up in R3 and R4... and bar forgetting to put a slow backswing on a flop in R4 for an easy bird, I couldn’t have complained with how I played that final 18. Had a 2 stop on the lip from distance, just to rub it in too.
Only one dirty bogey thru 72, which for me, is quite the achievement.
