The most amusing part of this was the "stick that in your pipe and smoke it, priest" comment on the in game society thread 😂😂😂 talk about counting your chickens! And to hirotoro. I was joking Dave. And how dare you. I'm the only one who joined and tried to support your new society. Yeh, and that was appreciated, but it was somewhat ironic given your comment that you've been had by API...

And at least there is video of all 4 potentially winning rounds for the record and to be scrutinized. But I have a suspicion Jayclutch will come through with the win. I've seen him in society's beating me and others by 10 shots. Maybe he could join The President's Cup Team

I am discovering this discussion and I am rather saddened by what I read. In my opinion there are only 2 options: Flick is allowed and all players are allowed to use it all the time, or flick is forbidden. Stop making us believe that flick is independent of your will and happens from time to time, no one believes it. Full hit from 6 to 12 is the most simple and natural swing. I am astonished that the site banish partially and reintegrate those who are considered cheaters. I say that in case where flick is considered as unfair advantage. Either you cheat or you do not cheat, there is nothing in between. The rule must be strict and not "ok you can use it from time to time but not too much". Otherwise it's ridiculous (like hitting -60 on 4 rounds with heavy conditions on hard course). Have fun because we are here for this Sorry for my poor (frenchy) english Can’t disagree with the logic, but enforcement virtually impossible. In TGC1 and 2, players could see ghost feedback lines, so you had a sense of how others played. Now the only visible player input is confined to the API data stored with admins. Without mandatory video posting, the options for enforcement are limited. Of course, increased penalties for repeated flicking API pulls might convince some to change. But it seems many top-10ers flick and can pass API consistently. So we’re back to square one. One solution: All PGA players required to post six holes of one round on YouTube or twitch or something. Following the end of the tournament, any players who finish top 10 are subject to review of their video. If the six hole video has more than a certain number of short downswing lines, then the player is subject to disqualification, stroke penalties, etc. Problem with TGC1 and 2 is the swing feedback wasn't always accurately shown to the other player. I know this from playing hundreds of rounds with a friend.

I've seen him in society's beating me and others by 10 shots. I have a suspicion that you could be a legit guy, but frustrated by some of the other clowns. Most of us know who they are too. In fact, way back I learned the flick and short swing just for experimentation to give HB and admin info. I never played a legit round here and in societies I would quit on the last hole because I knew it was cheese. I play golf in real life and the honor of the game carries over to this game for me. I play the game how it was supposed to be designed to play. Pull back and push forward in tempo. Pretty simple, either play this game like golf or play it like a video game. Most of us play it like it is golf.

-8 followed by -3.
Hard to make a cut when you keep leaving yourself 20+ foot birdie attempts and then miss 7 footers when you do get it close. Pretty bad when you have to rely on this for a birdie:
Think I'll just stick to rangering now and leave the flickers to it.

Oh captain my captain Burton...I did what you ordered me to. It was just short of a stroke of genius to have me rile up our troops like that. We now have the fire in the belly to win the President's Cup. Even that old boomer Cusehokie showed signs of life. You knew I was the perfect yenta to pull it off and I thank you for entrusting me with the mission. Adversity does build camaraderie. And here is the video you requested. I need more practicing but I'll recover from all the flicking you made me learn and be good to go when I hit the first tee with partner Cusehokie in fourball vs. crawsey and some other cheesey flicker.

JayClutch is also known as Vodka .......lmao
Or maybe he's just from a very good TGC family of Abbotts.........and his 'brother' Sean just happened to dominate BCT up till a week before he went to Q-school.........
Curiouser and curiouser.......
(just me speculating - no idea if this is true or not )

Kept it together for 4 rounds. Finally starting to get some real confidence in my irons again, that’s been lacking since the end of last season. -11, -13, -14, -14 for a -52. Recorded some of my rounds for the first time since last season too, I’ll post them this weekend #flickless #mylineislongerthanyours
