Hey guys,
Apologies up front if this isn't the appropriate category to posting this in, I've just recently joined the forum...
I recently read that Old Sandwich in Plymouth, MA was being worked on (or at least in the pipeline), but that comment was made in a post back in early September. I'm curious if anyone has an update on the status of this, as it's my favorite course I've ever played and I'm incredibly eager to play in TGC2019.
Thanks in advance for any updates, and apologies again if this should have been posted elsewhere!

I believe it was CLV that was going to work on it at some point. Thing is he 'claimed' a bunch of courses and can only get to one at a time. Last I heard he was doing Shoreacres but no one truly knows what he is working on at this time.

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid that was going to be the answer. Hopefully he gets to it sooner rather than later, as it's one of my personal favorites.
Thanks again for the reply!

Just checked and they have pretty decent data available. I'm booked up enough that I'm trying not to pick up other projects right now, but perhaps I might be able to at some point in the future. It's clearly a DAM good course, and knowing that it's apparently on the punitive side it could be a good choice for TGC.
Just wondering, have you been fortunate enough to play Essex County Club and if so, what did you think of it?

Unfortunately I have not played Essex. I'm only fortunate enough to have played OS because some family members of mine have memberships there. I have not played Boston Golf Club, but I've been told by people who've played both that they're very similar experiences to one another. I have a sentimental connection to OS because it was my fathers favorite and played there all the time before he passed away, so I have a ton of memories playing there with him. Would love to be able to play it on TGC which is why I asked originally.
Thanks again for the additional update!

I will definitely keep that in mind as a potential course to make. Along with Boston GC and Essex County Club I believe, theclv24 had claimed them. He does a very good job with his RCRs so if he really wants to do a specific course I will leave it to him. On a totally random side note: one guy made Franklin Park and George Wright, and I made Black Rock CC (tour version is 'improved' not 'harder'). If you haven't tried those out you may want to give them a go

I've played Black Rock once in real life, so I checked it out on TGC, and enjoyed it, but I haven't tried the tour version so I'll check it out. I'm glad you clarified what the tour version meant cause in my mind I was like "I'm pretty sure this course has never been on tour" :-) I've played George Wright a bunch (I live in the Boston area) and the TGC version is really well done. Haven't tried Franklin Park yet, but I'll check it out in the game.
Thanks for the feedback, and once again appreciate the updates on Old Sandwich!

That's awesome! Yeah there's so much going on right now with all that (I have two more LiDAR projects started already, in addition to a first fictional course) that I really can't give you a good time estimate. It's almost a problem just how many courses I'd want to get to, as there's never time for all of them

With the release of PGA 2K21, I figured I'd give this a bump to see if anyone has an interest in creating this on the new platform.
Thanks in advance!
