So are we staying spoiler free or not? I personally prefer posting my scores as I play them and since I know I won't be in contention for the win, it's not really spoiling anything for me if other people post their scores. For the most part I just play in my own little bubble without really caring what other people are shooting. No ghost balls or looking at the leaderboard between holes for me.
Oh, and I was -7 in round 2 and stayed bogey free. Lurking on the outside edges of the top 10 again.

Round 3 is in the books. Stayed bogey free again and finally managed to make some birdies on the front 9 and not need a strong finish to salvage a decent score. I even enjoyed playing in the stronger wind. Ended up finishing at -9 which is my best round so far this week.

I'll stay partially spoiler free by posting my individual round scores but leave it up to everyone if they care to add them all up or not. Round 4 was bogey free again, so that's good and I finished -9. I'll guess that's my most consistent tournament ever since all four rounds were within two strokes of each other. Should be another week well back of the leaders but solidly in the 2nd tier of scores.

I like the idea of spoiler free to some extent. It does give the impression of a more realistic tournament unveiling day by day.
Personally I just play all 4 rounds in one setting over the course of an hour to an hour and a half. I play pretty quickly as well, so by the time a few days pass, I can't even remember any details about how things went.
I never look at the in-game scoreboard until each round ends. I prefer not to play with ghosts as well, but will occasionally do that in a 2nd round if I see a name at/near my first round score just to add a little something different.
Honestly though, with such low participation on these threads, not sure I care too much about keeping up some honor system. If there were a lot of people posting here and everyone agreed to it, maybe that's something. Right now it's just me, Boffo, Mark, and occasionally someone else.
That all being said, if anyone is adamantly against it, I won't post final totals.

We must be getting close to the end of a couple one month bans, so we'll probably add a couple more names then assuming they come back. Also assuming that they make it more than a few hours before they get back to carrying on their schoolyard squabble and just get banned again.
I know I'm always far more likely to make some sort of a post about my rounds if I'm including my score in it. Kind of feels pointless saying how I thought I played without having a score to make it relevant for anyone else. What other people score doesn't really matter to me as I've been more focused on playing for target scores I set based on my own rounds rather than someone else's.
I do understand that I might feel differently if I was in the top 5 contending most weeks and wanted to keep some suspense but that's not a scenario I've been in for a very long time and don't expect to get back to on this Tour.

True, don't know if they will come back to participate in either the tournaments or the forums. People like that are a cancer to the community in my opinion, but I don't make the rules so we'll see what happens. Best I can do is just ignore the nonsense better than I have before. If they come back with the same attitude, it does change the mood of things with these weekly threads. The age of the internet is upon us my friend, and that has brought a whole culture of tough guy attitudes hiding behind their keyboards. You've definitely been improving with a couple of weeks in a row without a bogey. That's huge. Best advice I ever got in this game is stupid simple, hard to execute, but changed my approach a lot. SweetTeeBag once told me "Get the ball inside 10 feet and the game becomes easier" Once I learned the factors that play in to that better (lie, wind, rollout, etc) my scores started to improve. I think you are just a gnat's pube from being right up there in contention boffo.

Also when you post your scores its same old sh%$, had a few missed putts/shots, but ends up shootign shooting -14/-15 Speaking your mind is not a cancer. They way in which you choose to do it is though. Constant complaining and belligerence to others, insulting people, making threats, making accusations - all of that has its limits which they crossed in the eyes of the admin. But in your world, I guess they were banned for a month for just speaking their minds though? sure thing.... Sorry that sharing my scores upsets you so much. Doesn't look like you even bothered to play in the last 5 weeks, so why exactly come visit these threads or community? I'll be posting each week and talking about it relative to my own goals, because that's the entire purpose of this thread. Thanks for all your contributions Shane.

Looks to be my 2nd straight week of finishing just outside the top 10. I'll sneak in there someday.
The Beginners Club Tour was always destined to have the same few people at the top(and bottom) of the leaderboard what with the broad range of skill levels and no place to promote to. If you're not a former PGA or Euro player and competing for a win each week is your motivation to play, then you're in the wrong Tour for that.

The question is why? Why come here and do nothing but complain? You have 20-something posts and every one of them is a complaint or snide remark.

He’s just part of the “Complaining Clique” Yaters, pay him no mind.
It’s funny that their argument last year was that the same few people win all the time, but now the ones they were hating on before don’t play here anymore, and now they’re using that argument again. LOL
Do your thing Yaters, you’re not doing anything wrong by playing well and talking about your rounds on the thread. That’s what it’s here for.
