Just wanted to thank everyone here at TGCT Doyley SmilingGoats and everyone under the hood for the fun over the years, I've enjoyed playing in this community and getting to know some of you. It's been really fun and you do a fantastic job running this league. Unfortunately my wife and I have become financially ruined due to our medical issues and can no longer stay afloat. Trust when I say, I have exhausted all options, sold practically everything we own and tapped out both sides of our families. Our story and struggles with this is too long for me to get into so I will spare you all from what would be an extremely long wall of text and tears (your tears, not mine. I've run out). I'll be around for another couple of days, maybe til Tuesday/Wednesday but then we're most likely done barring any miracles. Take care of yourselves everyone and thanks for the good times.

Hey Jimmy,
I'm sorry to hear all of that. I don't know what all of that means in your message but if there's anything we can do, please email us at commish at tgctours.com
Thank you for the kind words.

Buddy I'm truly sorry. This should not be the case. Nobody should be ruined for medical issues. Nobody. Ever. Period. If I were wealthy I'd help out...sadly I am not. Hang tough brother.

I'll avoid the obvious political aspects of this situation and just say that this really sucks to hear. I am actually deeply saddened by this story and just hope that this just becomes a temporary setback that you'll get back on your feet from and aren't going to be living on the street or anything like that. Wishing you nothing but the best in the future and hope you'll be able to pop back in here for a visit some day.
And on a head ranger note thanks for all your help with rangering over the years. I assume you're resigning the position but if you want to get in any more rangering rounds before you leave I'd be totally fine with that.
I'll miss seeing you around but once again wishing you the best of luck going forward.

I'm so sorry to hear your story Jimmy. And I really hope your next-to-last sentence is not as ominous as it sounds like. You have the support of a lot of people here, please don't hesitate to ask for help. I know that there are a lot of great souls here. Praying for you brother.

Hey guys thanks for the support here. Since I've put off paying our Internet/TV package for the past couple of months so we'd have the cash for other prioritized things like rent, we'll be losing internet most likely tomorrow. We can still use our phones but that will be limited to keep data charges at bay.
We appreciate those who have reached out. I've decided to set up a GoFundMe page to see if we can get over this hurdle. I will post our story of how we got here on the GFM page. I'm going to set a goal of $3,500 to cover 2 months expenses.
Honestly, this is really embarrassing for me and puts a knife right through any pride I had left. But this is more about keeping my wife and our service dog in good stay. (Yes, we managed to get Ellie designated by our primary care physician as a service and support dog). If it was just me I wouldn't have said a word and just rode off into the sunset.
A small silver lining is that my background check fro a job at the airport passed their criteria. I expect to get on the schedule this week (hopefully). But I won't see a paycheck soon enough to keep us under a roof.
Thanks again for the support. This community is wonderful. I'll post the GFM link once it is up.
If you are a veteran (I am not), thank you for your service on this Veteran's Day. Even in during our own personal sacrifice and hardship I would be remissed if we didn't thank you for yours. Thank you.

No need at all to be embarassed. And I'm so glad to hear you are putting up the GoFundMe page - post the address as soon as you can. Excellent news on the job! Good things are going to happen for you and your family - just keep the faith.

Will be here waiting for that GoFundMe link my man. May this just be a speed bump for you with better days on the horizon. Never be ashamed to reach out for help. We're all on the same team and look out for one another.

This should be moved to the main page. This is not off topic This is what this club is about.
I am sorry to hear Jimmy. We certainly disagree on some political things but I always felt like we could separate our differences and stay friends. Always respected that about you. I know if we were on the same console we would play online together that is for sure.
I know you will do everything you can to keep your family above water and no shame in asking for help. Sometimes when your back is against the wall life becomes much more simple. It becomes about survival and you make some of the best choices during that time.

Everyone needs help once in a while, and you shouldn't hesitate to reach out when you need it.
