This doesn't really have anything to do with the event this week, but that's never stopped anyone...
I haven't really kept an eye on my WGR for some time, mostly because there's no need - I know I'm just plummeting down the ladder. BUT, after a solid finish last week, I thought "OK, well should have at least held my place, right?" Upon checking I've dropped down again, getting passed by Mr. David Brown. I thought "Oh, well he must have played great last week," so I went and checked the final leaderboard. I finished P6, he missed the cut, but still leaped me in WGR? Not that it really matters, I'm on an inevitable slide down somewhere into the 20's at best, but how can someone who finished P6 get leaped in WGR by someone who missed the cut that same week? Anyone out there know enough about the system to make sense of that one for me?
I don't think it's calculated correctly this week. It says nearly everyone lost points - even those who finished above you.

Put my big boy pants on and decided to play through to the end of Round 2.
Was +5 leaving No 10 and finished R1 level par.
Sped through R2 in 63 blows.
More i played the course the more i realised just how absurd it is. Until next time....

This could be completely irrelevant but it's just a thought. I'm not sure how WGR is calculated here but in the real world there is a certain time frame for tournaments. You could have had a really good tournament finish a year ago...9 months ago....6 months ago (whatever the time frame is) that dropped out of your calculated ranking points and lowered the overall average. So, even though you played well this last week, you might have played better *insert the WGR time frame* and lost those points towards your WGR average. However, this is just a thought...I have no idea how it works on here.

Re WGR - there is definitely an issue in how it went this week - Vitaly WON the event last week and his points total has got lower - that is simply not possible. And 95% of the top 100 have also lost points..... So looks like either no points actually got added this week for anyone (pretty likely), a reduced number of points was awarded accidentally (maybe this week last season was a minor event - 20% of normal points) or double points have been removed (maybe for the week about 4/5 weeks where they were eventually awarded (after issues with no Fedex being given for a minor event)) Needs Doyley or SmilingGoats to take a look and correct In terms of how it works (when working properly) - it's your best 40 points amounts from the last 65 weeks (or less than that if you haven't played 40 events in that time) Each week - the points for previous weeks) reduce by approx 1/65th (about 1.5%) So a win last week is worth 100 points this week, next week it will be worth ~98.5, the following week 97 etc. A win in August 2018 (so 64 weeks ago) - is now only worth ~2pts..... Add the best 40 - and there you go.... simples!!! (honest)

Was marked as a Minor event accidentally. I've alerted Tim but a chance it'll remain as is. People got points. Will let you know final outcome when I hear back from Tim.

I'm not entirely sure what I think about this course, my play, or WGR. Got my rounds in early as I am spending more time in the designer lately. Should be a made cut for me and a very familiar finish with my medium player rivals.
-13 -10 -9 -13
-45 Total

Hey guys.Full disclosure I got my scores pulled this week.1st time ever. With nary a top 10 finish and only 2 top 25 finishes ever in full field pga events I'm certainly not doing anything intentional to game the system. My scores this week were -13,-7,-11,-12 My official Microsoft xbox 1 wired controller is 2 years old with about 1750 hours played combined on tgc2 and tgc2019 according to steam. Is this a lot of hours and controller is worn out already? This is the only game I play using a controller and it doesn't seem like a lot to me but I have no clue in this area. Currently sitting in the quiet room awaiting further instruction.See you next week or maybe not

Bad start for me as per usual. Didn't draw it enough on 1, left a flop short, missed the birdie putt. Birdied 2, then had a fast downswing on my approach on 3 and parred. Very slow off the tee on 4, fast on my second shot out of the mulch, almost sank the chip (curled all the way around the hole) but parred again. Annoyingly my shot was dead straight the whole time, just the tempo was off.
Pulled it together on 5 and sank an 11 foot eagle. Missed a 14 foot birdie on 10 but it was a difficult read. Missed an 8 footer on 14 that I just read wrong. Otherwise I played pretty well, got some good bounces, made my putts (17 foot eagle on 13), and finished with a -12 60. Not great, but basically fine.
Second round started with a birdie, but I was on the back fringe on 2, missed the birdie, then missed the 6 foot par. I then 3-putted from 8 feet on 3 for another bogey. Then I lipped out an 8 foot par on 4. So basically I gave away 4 shots in 3 holes by not being able to make 6-8 foot putts. I missed another 8 foot birdie putt on 10. Barely missed an eagle down the hill on 13, then barely missed the birdie. Hell, I almost missed a 4 foot birdie on 14 (after missing the eagle putt) but fortunately it went around the lip and in. I then sent a chip off the front of the green on 15 and bogeyed. Missed an 8 foot birdie on 16. Then I missed an 8 foot par on 17. Ended up with a -3 69.
So yeah, after a good first round I'm going to miss the cut because I managed to miss SIX putts inside 10 feet, plus a couple crappy chips.

-4 and -7 for -11 after two rounds. Hoping not to get my red mark right back that I got wiped off last week.

Never have I showed my rounds so little respect...
Had an 8 on a par 5 in r1... -7, -6, missed cut. Played as fast as possible so that I could go and play something else!
Had 3 putts that broke completely the wrong way...
Courses worth waterfalls can suck my pipe.
Think that’s it for now. Played shite. My fault.

Cant believe what just happened. After 4 missed cuts and a T58 as my best placement in a non-minor tournament, i finally had the luck on my side. Played a -16 in Round 1 and a -11 in the second. Started R1 with a flop-in and an HIO, -4 after 2. In Round 2 i had a pitch-in and a Albatross Hole-in-one. Unbelievable! Here are the two HIO's and holes 8-18 from my first round.
