Wow dude, looks very nice. Keep up the good work. Thanks. Progressing slowly but hoping to publish before Christmas. Can't wait for you to give it a play.

A hole design I tried on my first course, using a diagonal hazard to split the fairway (which i know was the inspiration for b101 current wip:)). I missed on the first attempt. But using some feedback from reebdoog , ohheycat and mattf27 I think i'll be a little more successful in the execution.

Good that you got so much feedback from the contest.
Knowing Ben's current course this looks better hehe

This hole has been completed since this picture was taken, but hey, I can't be showing off everything before publishing. Both sides have since been planted and I moved and sized some of my trees to let a little more light in and allow the shadows to be more distinguished. The hazard runs from near right to far left. The options are to layup left which gives you a lane between the greenside bunkers but would be a 7 iron or longer in. You wouldn't be able to attack these pins because you wouldn't have enough stopping power, you'd really have to use the contours of the green which is not going to be easy as there's not a lot of room for error. The other option is to carry the hazard. The further left you hit, the flatter the landing zone but the longer the carry, also the less the right side bunker comes into play. If you clear the water and keep it left you can then use a full 9 to attack these pins, adjusting loft a bit depending on the position. Or you could use the slopes to roll one close.

I did a playthrough thing.
Don't mind the audio, I was the only one awake so I was trying to be quiet. And also the abrupt stop was my dog trying to piss on the floor. Feedback welcome.

Tee shot of the first par 5 Needs some more surfacing and sculpting but here's some things i've been working on: There's been discussion about interesting tee boxes so here's my 2 cents. I've been trying to pull the golfers eye away from the shape of the tee box itself. I added those 2 bunkers on the right to the previous hole. They sit directly below the club information for a reason. I tiered the shorter tees higher as opposed to stepping them down to add a ridge for the extra color, and with some planting should work good. Also i sculpted the back of the forward tees so they slope back a touch. This allows a sliver of green on the higher one to come into view. I also slid the waypoint to the right half of the fairway so the golfer is turned a little and the fairway bunker is right on his nose. Still needs some fine tuning but when I'm done you won't even notice the shape of the tee boxes. Any comments on this would be great. lessthanbread cplampman

As I progress I actually create more work for myself so my target day for release is the first of the year. Maybe i'll do a new year's day playthrough on twitch.

I see some nice planting behind those forward tees and see if you can lower the start of the fairway and slope it up to the landing zone so it comes into view more

Im working my way away from the tee box to the fairway. I still haven't nailed down the planting yet so i'll come back to that when I want to try a look out.

Unless your name is Jamie you may not want to do this on more than half your holes That kinda sounds like a dare How many par 4s and 5s on Royal Bahiir didn't have the terrain drop down a bit to the start of the fairway, followed by a slightly uphill approach shot?
P.S. Don't expect to see more of that on his WCoD course
