Currently trying to finish my first ever course. Been working on it since tgc2. I have loads of retaining walls. I want to have one green similar to Sawgrass 17, where the retaining wall goes from around 4 ft to 1 ft and then back up. Its super smooth on Sawgrass; but anytime i try to replicate it, I can only get my walls to look like steps. You can lower the next piece, but i can get the wall to “slope” Is it possible??

Unfortunately there's no way to slope a retaining wall, so you would have to have it the same height all the way round. Doing steps with a retaining wall would be tedious because of the off shot if terrain attached to it.

That, in a nutshell, is working the the designer ... coming up with creative ways to achieve results that HB never envisioned.

Yes it is ... and I'll give you two other words to consider ... "picnic tables."

Using a combination of techniques by b101/ Trayys and mayday_golf83 i created this wall. It uses flat and curved bridges, as well as an inside wall to make sculpting look better

You know me, I get a course to about 75% complete then get bored and/or can't be arsed finishing the planting (which I hate doing)……..then usually start another and get that one to about the same stage...….rinse and repeat I just find planting tedious and irritating, dunno why really but I do. I think I have 5 or 6 courses like that atm (not including lidar projects). They are all totally playable as they are, they just need planting / decorating to "bring them to life".
