Back to it so soon!!! You troopa! Certainly didn’t think sightlines were an issue on arbor though, some great looks.. Well I was the first finished so it feels like forever ago lol. I did have to publish to take care of some life things so stopped playing for a little bit too. I don't know know what word I'm really looking for so maybe sightlines isn't it but a lot of holes I had like greens or hazards kinda blocked. Like 5 for example, you don't even see the front right bunker from the approach shot to make it "pop". Hole 1, you don't see the fairway bunkers off the tee. So those sorts of "sightlines". Pretty much everything that has to do with bunkers needs work though haha. I'm not gonna over compensate now but I think I'm doing better with the overall sculpting/placement of them. Reebdog made a comment in his review about like placing your fairways around hazards as opposed to placing your hazards around fairways, and I started placing the hazards before anything else on the last couple holes. It doesn't seem like much but I am really enjoying the looks/layout I am getting while doing that.

Changed over to the delta theme. But also posted a beta under “Feeley’s Trail”
Any feedback is appreciated. Forgot to change the green speed down so it is playing fast.

I have started a couple new courses too playing with thinks from my feedback, mainly bunker sculpting, green sizes and pinched fairways. Always good to follow people of a similar level to see how we are all progressing especially if we have similar feedback (bunker sculpting)

Ugh....just completely stuck here. Have so much trouble planting. I actually really like the layout of the course but it's just boring. Tee shot is little elevated area, flat ground up to fairway.
I also wanted to try something different so deleted just about everything, changed name, saved. Yeah forgot to publish.
Any courses to play that I can get some inspiration for the Delta theme? Or any ideas on how to make the tee area not boring?

Im experimenting with planting near the tees and far enough away that it just comes into view on the screen. Trying to give the players eye something else to focus on without throwing it right in front of them. But also, different shapes, I think i've found a course i want to emulate. If you've ever played Ivy Ridge it seems every tee box that have is different. When i looked at the bluegolf yardage book, i was right, lots of shapes that are subtly different. And a few 11 and 17 maybe come to mind are really different. Give that a look.

I’m out of the designer at the moment for other reasons but I’ve been thinking about how I am the same as you guys in that it’s too repetitive and boring so if I get a chance again I’m just going to go completely out of the box. Don’t play it safe, keep it clean and neat but random at the same time. The worst that can happen is I delete it.
