Welcome to week 6 on The Korn Fu***ng Tour. This week we are playing New Highland Dunes 2019 by rjwils30 . It’s a fantastic course that should provide a challenge at times and that’s all I have to say about the course, good luck and have fun. You know what, that’s not all I have to say. I have to get something of my chest. My manly perfect, schedulers chest. I have a bone to pick with the designer. I am a huge fan of Rob, his courses are fantastic and I have used them on tour before. And while this course is of the same quality as his others, I just think it’s a money grab, unnecessary and a little bit greedy by Rob. What am I talking about I hear you ask, well it’s this whole new and 2019 thing. What was wrong with the original Highland Dunes? I’ll tell you what was wrong, absolutely nothing. It’s just this ridiculous trend that everything has to be new and improved. New fairy liquid, cleans one fu***ng extra stain from your already whiter than white shirt. New pampers, absorb 20 percent more of your babies shite. New England, now with 90 percent less English people. It’s a joke, there is nothing wrong with the original, but just put new on something and the brain dead muppets out there will lap it up, just stand outside any apple store on new iPhone day. And don’t get me started on sports equipment and their magic ability to turn a shite player into a pro. And now we are seeing it here on tgctours. New Highland dunes, now with a extra blade of grass on every fairway, now with finer sand in the bunkers for less itching when it gets in the crack of your ass, now with 20 percent less bad players to help keep the course in pristine condition. And how can we forget the 50 percent new sustainable forest to appease our hippy friends. What a load of bullcrap. So why am I using the course, unfortunately for legal reason, I can not discuss that but they not stop me speaking out. Come on Rob, your better than this. A little bit of extra information for the five people that read this. The course is sneaky, the obvious shot is not always the best shot. It will try to tempt you, it will try to lure you in with the promise of goodies, then rob you blind and run away giggling. And for those that make the cut, the most evil pin in the history of my scheduled courses awaits. Be wary, be smart and have fun.

Hahaha. Yep. Selling out! Looking forward to seeing guys rip their hair out with that pin. Could have a fair bit of rage this week. Should be fun. Thanks again for using the course despite its new flashy corporate veneer. Welcome to week 6 on The Korn Fu***ng Tour. This week we are playing New Highland Dunes 2019 by rjwils30 . I didn’t think this course would suit me and it didn’t it. That’s not a knock on the course, it’s fun, it’s interesting, looks great and rewards good shots. However Big elevation changes, big wind and long clubs aren’t my forte, 5 yards is all it takes on this course to roll away from a gimme birdie towards a scrambling Par. I won’t be around for the weekend but on the bright side I hit a 419yard drive and won’t need to worry about the Pin 4 location. Enjoy and good luck

One word.......BRUTAL!!!.....Good Luck Everyone!! Brutal indeed. About 2/3 thru my first round I was really enjoying and hating it at the same time. Really enjoying the course + conditions but, of course, hating my missed "rim job" putting, as usual. Just a majestic course though.

Got kicked up to the Horny Corns courtesy of accumulating 3 green ticks.
Was not really in the mood to play today but I did. Should not have played. Mind was all over the place except the course.
-3 and -6, missing the cut for sure
Beautiful course!

Missed too many putts but really liked the course...a lot of good risk/reward spots.

Began the tourney with 2 3 putts. Great! Reminds me to practice putting before the round. Which I promised myself to do from now on... After that I played okay and still got to -7. This course is certainly different and wind direction can change a hole completely. I wouldn't like a course like this every week but it's good for a change. GL next rounds

Take a practice round. I'm tired of kicking ss when nothing counts and doing the opposite when it does count.

-19 after 2 rounds and should be enough to make the cut. Lots of risk and reward but echo what others say in that the wind makes a huge difference to how easy each hole is. Very much a challenge. Good luck to all.

Hi guys! Apparently, I spent too much time in CC and got accustomed to using one single thread for a whole season. Thus, after Riotous kindly gave me the hint that I was posting in the wrong place, I decided to simply copy and paste. So, here it goes: Good morning, Unfortunately, I could only play three rounds yesterday. However, these three rounds went particularly well, so that I will have to decide whether or not to wait with my final round until the weekend to see what I have to shoot for a green tick. Usually I'm too impatient, though. Actually I am still slightly baffled by the extent to which everything clicked in my first round. Right from the start I accumulated birdie after birdie, as my approaches made putting pretty easy. That way, I started to feel a bit nervous when I found that my -13 propelled me to the top of the early leaderboard. After a slow start in round 2 with E after 7, I managed to recalibrate my game in the back 9. I eventually got into the clubhouse at -7 for a halftime score of -20. This will be my first made cut, which, of course, I am pretty happy with. Round 3 was one more solid performance at -8. No big story to be reported though, I'm just glad I didn't add some unnecessary extra challenge for myself by hitting into the woods or down the hill. Good luck guys!

I like a practice round where i choose the riskiest option every time just to see what will definitely not work. I find then there are a few holes (at least) where i would go 3W off the tee whereas if i steamed in and played without a practice round i might go Driver on those holes and put myself in trouble. Also on approaches i attack every pin and work out which pins are definitely not worth attacking. My practice rounds are invariably way worse than my tournament rounds as a result. Would be common for me to be over par in practice or hovering around even par. I find this approach works for me.

Hmmmm...never considered the daredevil approach to a practice round. That sounds pretty good, may have to try that.

Quite happy with a bogey free -10. Good swing, relatively good putting. Last 8 holes I missed to much to go for a real low score but can't have it all...
