It's going to be a birdie-fest this week.......
Round 1 has high winds, so a little trickier, but R2 there is near enough no wind and slow, soft greens - someone is going to shoot 54........unfortunately not me!
Reasonably happy with -9 in R1, and then massively disappointed with -10 in R2.
-19 at the cut - right on it as usual I suspect.

63-61-62-65 - 36 under total.
Full swing waaay better than last week. Everything else was garbage. Pulling all my chips so can't make even relatively simple ones. Couldn't buy a birdie in the first 6 holes in pretty much all rounds.
Don't think it will be THAT much of a birdie fest. Pretty much every 2nd shot is played from a hanging lie. Greens are annoying (but i would say that).
Back to the practice green.....

A pair of -12 to open.Score much better than quality of play with the usual tempo issues(mostly me this time though).A couple chip ins and some long putts made to bail out some poor approaches. Greens seemed relatively flat for the first two rounds so I'm thinking there could be some pretty low scores with some of the dart throwers on here.
Enjoyed the course and conditions so far but then again I may not know any better of what's good or not. It's see course, play course, hope to make a cut.
Best of luck to those left to play.

In the words of the famous philosopher Jeremy Clarkson - absolute c0ck.
-11 rd 1 followed by a -4 or some other shyte....
Have absolutely no idea how to keep the backswing in the blue.
Play well all and see you next week.
DP.

I'll either make the cut with 4-5 strokes to spare or miss it by 8+...there doesn't seem to be an in between mode for me.

-35 if I make the cut. Player had blisters on his heels and toes with the number of severe side hill lies he had to contend with!! Played all four back to back and actually played a lot better R1 thru R3 than my score suggests. R4 my swing was erratic and I just wanted it over with tbh. Well played to the many above me, good luck those still to play.

Breaking in a new DS4 as the old one developing a dead zone in it.
-5 and -7. MC by a mile. Hoping to avoid a strike is the goal this week it seems.

I'm baaaaaack!
And I lipped out a 9 foot birdie on 3 and a 6 foot par on 5, was even at that point. Got better after that, birdied 5 of the next 6 and shot -8.
Was having trouble with tempo, probably had 5 fast approaches and 5 slow approaches, hard to fix when it's going both ways.
Second round I did twice as well on the front 9, was -6 at the turn. Tempo and putting was much better. Then I missed a 9 foot par on 10. Was actually in the bunker off the tee on 9, 10, and 11, going par-bogey-par. Got it going a little again with a birdie on 13, then left an eagle putt 7 inches short on 14. Missed a birdie on 15 by inches. Bunker off the tee again on 16. Missed a 14 footer on 17. Birdied 18 to shoot another -8.
I assume that -16 probably isn't going to make the cut. Really didn't do a good job with putting, tempo, or judgment off the tee.

-9 and -15 to start, the past few tournaments I’ve been burning edges like crazy, it’s been literally unbelievable. Very happy to finally put a solid round together, unfortunately -24 is 6 strokes off the pace on PS4 lol
edit: 7 off the pace

Haha, you pull em and I push em. I'm still trying to find the perfect amount to aim left to account for my push because it's fairly consistent. I make them sometimes (like 20%). If I could nail it down, my chipping would be deadly!
