I know it usually benefits my real-life game (shot 69 while knocking off a fifth of George Dickel) and there's only a few times were I hit the 'too much' mark and things went sideways. As for TGC, I play like s**t no matter what so I would rather be on tilt to ease the suffering. And if you want to know when you really hit bottom, there's Natty Light Seltzer out now:

I really enjoy playing when I'm drunk. In my head I'm playing the golf of my life. Next day I see the leaderboard and my score is total garbage.

Alcohol and other inhalant is a 3 stroke penalty. I have my TGC player Grinder12000 and my weekend only player Fizzbin1000. And it’s about 3 strokes handicap wise

Happy Saturday Golfers Tell me about that beer please. I see it has a fairly high alcohol content. How’s the taste? Is it smooth like an IPA? Or is it a bit more wheaty in its flavour? And where can I try it?

Ahhh...my favorite combination.
Like real golf I have had some of my best rounds sober , drunk or hungover. I have never been able to figure out what the perfect mix is. Even emotions don't seem to matter. I have had amazing rounds pissed off or happy. For me it's always been that feeling I get right off the first tee. I just know it will be a good day or not so much.
Although IRL I won't play goat farms/clown mouths and greens that take a @!$#ing driver to get to the hole.

I've just found out that putt putt courses are very difficult after half a bottle of whisky

I rarely buy Single Barrel Jack . Maybe Thanksgiving or Xmas but it is a total sleeper. So smooth. All of a sudden wife is looking at me like WTF are you doing?

We don't have a BAC for cannabis.
I typically don't drink alcohol.

I don't think that's a good idea. Any use of psychoactive substances eventually causes physical and psychological dependence. It would help if you relieved tension and stress naturally. My friend used to drink several bottles of beer before football matches for a long time. An alcohol addiction developed over time. Therefore, we had to contact fherehab.com/detox/ a few weeks ago. Btw, you should sign up for a consultation with a qualified psychologist. There you can solve your problem.

Like most skill games I find after 4-5 beers I’m very good, same with darts and pool but then there’s a VERY steep drop off after that, I’ve often had to pause rounds when this happens and come back the next day!
Also found weed is good too but sometimes can get a little twitchy with swing path, great for tempo and getting immersed though
