If anyone near the top of the leaderboard had any concerns about me they can be put to rest after my third round. I didn't really play all that horrible a round but didn't leave a lot of easy birdie putts or make any great putts to make it up.

i just wanted to apologize for my behavior recently as i feel i am one of the main contributors to bringing the tone down on this tour. sometimes i just have one of those days, and i just want to vent it out. this clearly isnt the place to do it, so going forward i will try to keep it light and vent elsewhere. it was never my intention to run anyone off this tour with my bulls*$& and i feel 80% responsible for the feelings some of you have. i also feel these forums posts dont reflect me as a person, as i am usually a laid back, make a lot of jokes kind of guy. and i have realized on here i just seem like a bitter a*$ hat. good luck to all this season. I appreciate that Tott! Trust me this game can be frustrating as hell sometimes (that's why I typically don't stream tour rounds, as it's inevitable an f-bomb or two is going to come out). Typically, when I vent the frustration is directed toward myself or the game as, even though we fight like brothers sometimes, there are a lot of good people around here that help make this thing go. As I've said quite often, if not for TGCT, The Golf Club series wouldn't have nearly the staying power it's had in my gaming repertoire. Cheers!

4th round was basically a carbon copy of the 1st right down to the score. Nothing spectacular, nothing stupid. Felt like a decent week for my first tour event in nearly a year. A better 3rd round and I'd have been fairly happy with my performance. Only a couple of bogeys all week, but never really got on a roll at any point with any good stretches of birdies. Still some bad habits I need to get out of my game but an OK start.

Where's Sean this week? Where's the guy who was on the lb at -16 at the beginning of the week?

Where's Sean this week? Where's the guy who was on the lb at -16 at the beginning of the week? Think Sean decided not to play maybe? That -16 score disappeared for some reason. Maybe wrong club set or something? Hate to speculate but that seems to be the only reason for it to get removed so quickly.

I honestly don't remember anything about my 3rd round except the wind was higher and I had to scramble for a couple of pars. I know I misjudged a few of the big elevation change holes with that wind, but overall was pretty happy making the putts I thought I should.
-11 with no bogies. Still behind on the scoreboard, but maybe new-guy-Bennet slows his impressive pace last round.

I’m not keen on playing in high winds, still getting to grips with it but had a few good holes and had to grind out the rest.
Standing on the 18th tee I was -7 with no bogeys and feeling fairly good about my performance, I got to the green and had an 8 footer for par, small left to right break, set it up on the left edge and this happened……..Haych Bee!

Great win Bennett Whitley - congratulations!
I had a good last round and my first HIO during a tournament in a long long time. Not enough to make up the strokes needed to take over the lead though. A couple of really poor holes in the 2nd round made a huge difference in the end.
On to next week. Going to try and slow down a bit to avoid bogies!

that 69 in round 3 killed me, the winds just didnt want to work with me and im pretty sure i had one in the drink as well. if i shoot the same as my other 3 rounds im sitting top 5, but ill take a top 10 after thinking my score wasnt even good enough for a top 20. congrats to Whitley this week though.
and after a few rounds on Kill Devil Hills this weekend, next week should be interesting, especially with any kind of medium/high wind.

Congratulations to Bennett on playing his first ever tournament for TGCT and winning, very nice.... Unlucky yaters , just pipped at the post....the word "Robbed" springs to mind. Great scoring from everyone else who finished in the top ten, well done. I haven't played KDH at all yet tottenhamordie but I have looked at the weather report for next week and at some point there will be medium/high winds and also very fast greens. Hopefully, I can grind out another top 15.....
