A contrasting two rounds.......weather wise!
Pretty straightforward medium wind in R1, and played nice and solid for -12
It's a little breezy in R2 though......which normally kills my birdie opportunities........so most surprisingly, I again played solid! Two nice eagles (including at 18) meant a nice -10 for the day.
Very happy with -22 at the cut - that might even mean I make one!!! Will probably be 8/9 shots back though lol.....medium player problems!
EDIT: Made it back-to-back eagles with a short chip in in R3....

-12 -9 to finish off at -43 Shame both of them had a stupid double bogey in, otherwise that would have been a very pleasing overall result. Good luck all (so long as you shoot -22 or worse for the first two rounds )

-10 -10
-20 after two.
I hope to make the cut after missing out by one shot each of the last two weeks.
I played pretty good for my standards. Not much more I can do.

All I can say is slow DS is very bad in 20mph winds! Probably a missed cut after a nice R1 score.

59-57 - 28 under at half way.
Round 1 was a little annoying - missed several putts i'd expect to make. Wouldn't surprise me to see a 54 or better in this round
Round 2 i'm really happy with - knew going into the season i needed to improve my performance in VH winds and here i did. Even allowed myself to par two of the Par 5's on the back 9.
Will be finishing later in the week from now on. Good luck all

-14 -9 -23 after two which might see me make a cut for first time this season. Round 2 was tough in those winds, well played AFCTUJacko.

-12 and -9 to open.Pretty good by my less than mediocre standards for only playing this game a couple hours per week.Still probably a MC but it's all good as we're off to Vegas for a week. Great shooting AFCTUJacko in round 2 on PC no less.

Need a Dramamine after 2 rounds, but managed-13, -9 for -22 at the cut. Could be a really nice course, but that lag is terrible.

-9 and -10. The number of short putts I missed in R1 is laughable, rage inducing, and tear filled! Should have been a -14 or so in that round. Missing the cut again this week. Good luck to all yet to play and to those with rounds yet to complete!!

What an odd course. Practiced a round and ended up -14 after a double bogey and two bogeys. All those rocks really make things interesting. On one of the par 5s on the back nine, hit a Fast downswing, hit the rocks before the green, bounced fully over the green but hit the rocks behind the green and ricochet back onto the green where the slope brought it to about 2 feet for eagle. Another hole, hit a rock in the fairway and the ball jumped left almost 90 degrees, bouncing all along the rocks by the stream about 18 times before it finally found a nook just before the water and under a ledge. I smartly declared unplayable and tried it again cause I don't think I could have gotten out of there.
Beware folks. It is a course you really think you should be able to shoot 54 but those rocks certain make the bounces as unpredictable as some of the links courses.

That was a waste of time. Just when I think the setup folks can’t outdo themselves.
