I have gone through the top 1250 in WGR through week one of season six, plus added some specific members below that WGR rank. I am asking for those with (regular tours plus TST) 209 or MORE tournaments played to make me aware so I can update this list. It is not practical for me to go through thousands of profiles (but I am trying to over a long period of time), so I am counting on the community to update me.
I have also given a look at the BCT and TST tours, but may have missed some members there that may not show on the regular tours' WGR list as well. Help there also would be appreciated!
You can look this up by looking at your profile at tgctours.com and clicking on the career tab. Add up everything under that tab (for your career) to get your total number of events played.
(I will update this over time!)
This is the Top 50 list as of 11:15 PM (23:15 military) U.S. CST on 10/01/2019 with amount of tournaments played:
Gavin McCabe 383 Andi Smith 374 Jack Oliver 372 Bradley Garcia 363 Rob Dallas 326 Bob Balzhiser 315 Leslie Sangster 311 Mark Custard 309 Ryan Hammond 296 Bill Allen 286 Luke Oswin 281 Edward Milbert 281 Nathan Allen 280 Wes Howell 280 Jerome Glass 279 Ronny Akesson 278 Scott Doyley 265 Andre Quenneville 261 Jason Dowey 261 Neil Segotta 261 Steven Garrity 258 Tom Jones 254 JT Current 247 Thomas Oberholzer 246 Phil Roberts 246 Matt Medina 244 John Fischer 244 Jim Brown 243 Oliver Haas 239 Charlie Stewart 235 Nic Zaiser 232 Matt Geddes 226 Jimmy Sheridan 226 Colin Greenshields 226 Daniel Sheehan 221 Roddy MacDougall 215 Gary Best 214 Shawn Christiansen 214 James Yates 213 Dan Moody 213 Jeff Fussman 212 Jim Gustafson 212 Clark Gibson 211 Marc van Niekerk 211 J.D. I went through every tournament I played and in the exact order and my total played is at 136. That excludes Exhibition events, Q-Schools etc. That number is nowhere near where I want it but that is mainly my fault. We all know why Edit: 139 is the right number. I forgot about the Secondary TST events I played.

Only on TGCT since November 2017, but have played 126 events. Mostly TST (42), all the rest in the fun tours of CC (A-2, B-29, C-20, D-8, E-4, F-13) and QS/Promo/Qualifiers (8).
That's over a span of roughly 90 weeks (but less since there were breaks between seasons). If I discount breaks and holidays, I probably averaged 1.5 events a week, not counting other societies.
Highest WGR 609 12 Nov 2018, currently 1060. Grinding baby and loving it.
Onward!

How many tournaments have there been in total? Gavin has played 375 out of a possible...... The answer will be "it depends" of course.
Depending on the level of play and which tour one is on, there may be slightly less available to some versus others. Some tours have events you have to qualify for while other do not.
I used the PGA and TST, counted up all events that one could qualify for but did not include promotion events or "fun" off-week events like Holiday events that were filler events and got this:
(PGA)
Season 1: 38 events Season 2: 48 events Season 3: 41 events Season 4: 48 events Season 5: 42 events
(TST)
Season 2: 49 events Season 3: 41 events Season 4: 48 events Season 5: 42 events
Total : 397 events
Edit: So roughly 400 events "possible".

SMIFFYLFC79 said he was going to take a break and celebrate when Liverpool win the Premier League, who knows what decade that will be then? I'm only on 134 events played as I take time off when I get burnt out, better than coming on here than pissing and moaning I guess. Next big milestone on here will be Doyley at 10000 posts, only 700ish away, he should get there quick if Smurf makes it to the PGA at Q school next week
