I changed the lighting and some of the textures and I've done a lot of work on the clubhouse area which I've based on the actual clubhouse. I've laid the surfaces on the 14th hole so I'm getting there with the course side of this one.

Yeah so when I'm designing a course I get kinda bored laying down surfaces, sculpting and all the other important stuff. So I wander off and start working on the eye candy and see what I can create. Here's the clubhouse with my car signature which is on all my courses at the front. I thought I'd try create a covered parking space with decking on top of it next to this house. The last one is just a simple porch above the door.

Love the off-course stuff as ever, but I'm loving that there is already more subtlety with the hazard placements than on Bayerischer - this feels like a real step forward from the pictures. Things like angling the fairways and where it looks like you've brought the river in on 10 look brilliant. I'm not sure about that shot of the 8th fairway with that ridge and bunker placement, but love the look of the other three holes you've got there. Great to see you trying something different and look forward to giving it a play

Great to see you trying something different and look forward to giving it a play Cheers Ben, yeah I've been trying to bring a few angles into the holes and make players think twice about using driver off the tee. The river on the 10th is about 260ish yards from the tee, so depending on the wind it can be carried but may leave a awkward second shot. I've not flattened the ridge on the 8th out yet as it's not in play, I was thinking of either moving the bunker back or just doing away with it. I'm hoping the 8th-10th holes will be a good run of holes, the 9th being a par 3 that's just under 200 yards with a 40 odd ft drop. I'm trying to create something different with the off course stuff, so it's not just stock buildings placed around the plot. I'm going to release a beta of it first and hopefully get a few ideas of what I can work on.

I've published a beta of the course to get a bit of feedback about what works, what doesn't and what makes you scream what were you thinking. I know some of the fairways aren't smooth and there's still a lot of planting to be done, just wanting to find out people's thoughts about strategy and playability. If you have a suggestion about something that will improve the look of a hole it is more than welcome.
The beta is called Pass Beta.

I forgot to say that a SE medium to high wind is a favourable option for the course.

After getting some feedback on my beta I've made a few adjustments, one hole 1 I've widened the fairway just in front of the bunker to give a better angle for an approach shot. Before After On the 3rd hole I've added a fairway to the front of the green to make the approach less daunting. Before After

I've made a couple of adjustments on the 5th and 6th, there will still be more work done on the holes but this will give you an idea of the layout. On the 5th I've joined the two fairways as there was no need to have them split. The 6th hole has the fairway wrapping around the bunker to give the player an extra option off the tee Before After The aerial view pictures aren't quite as glamorous as other pictures, but it'll give you an idea of the changes that are being made.

Like those adjustments a lot - think it'll add even better playability here.

I wanted to start working on the planting the 18th as it was annoying when teeing off on the first there was a big blank space at the side. I've also done a lot of work on the 11th which I thought I had a few pics of, but apparently not.

Here's a pic of the 11th Go too far left off the tee on the 12th and you'll have to negotiate the trees in the foreground of this pic. The approach to the green on the 15th. I've been a bit self indulgent with the houses in the background by adding bridges to the front to create a porch and a stone facade.

This one is taking longer than I expected, some of the planting is taking on a life of it's own. The original plan was for the course to be more open in areas but the trees have took over, so some will be took out and replaced with more suitable planting.
I think in future I'll be planting a hole after it's been laid to avoid the grind of hours of planting.
