This course isn't that difficult tbh. It's a course I've known for many years with PGA games, so it doesn't surprise me the scores are so low (they are low in all CC tiers). That said, I had a below average second round (-4) as I couldn't get to grips with the wind, and was finding I had tricky putts on a lot of holes. Round 1 and 3 with no wind meant I was able to find the area's of the green I wanted so sank a lot of birdies!
Round 4 to play and sitting in 8th at the moment so hopefully will get an up mark with a good final round!

I struggled mightily at Pebble Beach, but the silver lining is that I get to come join the CC-C group now! See you next week at Broken Arrow.

Hi all, I'm happy to welcome you at Broken Arrow Champ., proud to have been chosen among notorious fellow Dirtbag designers. I hope the course will give you back all the joy (and sometimes struggle) I put in designing As I work on a pro tour version of the course, each remark will be welcome. Just to show, here is a picture of the new 16th par 3 I redesigned (you will play form the old tees you can see the shadows to the left). I did not like the uphill line of play. Dominique

Some crazy low scores this week. I was a bit surprised. I thought I played my "average" game, which generally puts me in the middle of CC-C. I thought the course was a good challenge and did not expect to be almost bringing up the rear in terms of the standings.

Glad that's over! First week on CC-C, one rage quit down.

Tough course this week - fair but tough. Very tricky greens. If you are off just a bit on the approach, it leaves you with a pretty tough first putt. I managed to grind out a -7 on round 1, but more the result of ridiculously lucky long putts/chips rather than skill on my part! LOL

I wasn't expecting much out of myself this week as this course frustrated the hell out of me in my practice rounds, but I am trying to emphasize course management rather than just going psycho like a gamer and gunning for every pin. Evidently I may be on to something since I am sitting 16-under after my third round tonight...not great, but considering I said I'd take 12-under and happily advance to next week, this is good. There might be life in CC-C for me beyond this week after all!

This is the toughest course I have played for a long time. I really liked it though, making par was easy enough, but shooting birdies was tough going, especially in round 4 with those pin positions.
R1 64 R2 62 R3 66 R4 67 Finished -21
My worst hole was the 1st, bogied that twice in R3 & R4! I missed a lot of putts by the smallest of margins, but I never felt like they were gimmies with the greens as challenging as they were.

Man, something about Round 4 pin positions just wouldn't let my putts fall. Took the lead after Round 3, after winning last week in CC-D, and felt really good going into Round 4.
Ended up shooting -7 (63) to probably walk away with a top 10 instead of a win. Tough break to end the week.

Aargh, ended round 3 with a 4(!) putt from about 7 feet. Went from a realistic birdie to a double bogey. Finished at -1, probably at around 100th place after three rounds.
Missed a lot of easy putts. Oh well, wait until the next round!!!

Oh well, wait until the next round!!! Wow - tough last round. Ended above par for the first time in forever. Not surprising as ai really had minimal (or none! ) birdie chances, and was generally fighting to save par. Typcial hole was hitting the green in regulation and watching it roll 45 feet away, leaving me a 45 foot put with a 2 foot grade for birdie. Would generally get it within ten feet for a 10 foot par attempt. Repeat for 18 holes. LOL But, everybody played the same course in the same conditions, so no complaints from me. This course was a good test.

Most fun I’ve had on CC-Pro in quite a while. Great course, very enjoyable conditions, lighting was great, and four rounds on this design wasn’t a chore. Great pick catcherman22! -6 -10 -13 -9 ——- -38 Those certainly aren’t top-10 scores, but I’m not here to chase wins. I just want to enjoy my time playing my TGC rounds. This was great!

Caught a bit of the stream Eric. As you say, cracker of a course. Enjoyed the Promo event course also....another great track. Played all 8 rounds yesterday and had a great time. What are you doing down here? When did that happen?!!
