This course is brutal, the pins locations on sideslopes especially. I couldn't find a straight putt to save my life in round 1. Finished -1 for the first round, just too difficult a course for me to score on with my poor putting.

I just buzzed through a practice round and went -5 with no bogeys, but doubt I'll do that when the actual event happens.

Played out of my mind in Round 4. Made an ace on hole 2 on a shot that might have rolled off the green if it didn't hit the flagstick, narrowly missed an albatross on 5, survived a very fast swing on 7, missed a short birdie putt on 10, made back to back eagles on 16 and 17, then lipped out a birdie on 18. All told I made it to -13 for the round and -41 for the tournament. I have no clue what got in to me today. Well done mate great score, I also aced hole 2 in round 4 and eageld 16 for a -10 round, my best score of the four, bring on the high winds

This course leaves me mentally drained and emotionally vulnerable, so I decided to play my first round without streaming. Staying in the correct side of the fairway and below the pin on the green requires too much concentration. I battled REALLY well through the second half of the round after the putts stopped dropping, so I’m actually really happy with the bogey-free performance. I’ll take a break and tee it up in round 2, but I won’t be doing my usual four consecutive rounds, my brain just wouldn’t handle that. Still bogey free in R2, but I haven’t found a straight putt on these greens no matter what I do. I’m mentally drained. Haha!

Glad to be moving on to next week since I couldn't figure that course out at all. Nor could I execute or putt. Fun stuff.
My four rounds went -1, -2, -10, -1.
That's not a typo. I have no explanation or understanding how that's possible.

good gravy that short par 4 is the best/worst hole ever. DANG IT! heh. Wish I could stop burning edges.

Hello CC-B, just got an email to say I've been promoted to play with the bigger boys. Lucky loser with the new Master club fast-track system. Banter will be received in good spirits but will also be returned! Really looking forward to the next few weeks courses, I've got a Rookie Design Course to finish off and then i'll be giving the Tour a bit more attention.
Happy swinging

Bonjour, had a bit of a roller coaster ride yesterday evening. Not quite as spectacular as cephyn's, but up and down nonetheless. As I'm not a good putter, it all depended on where the ball landed on the green. I also still have issues with accidental very slow downswings causing trouble. Those began in the season break, as I barely played at all during that time. Anyway, I finished this week with a -1, -9, -8, -3 for -21. I guess I'll have to wait one more week for that initial spark. Good luck!

Man, one stroke away from a promo mark! Considering I had two bogies this week and a wasted third round, I definitely could’ve grabbed one if I had putted better. I’m already scared for next week since I typically don’t play joegolferg courses very well. My only TGCTours full-on rage quit came at Greenbrier CC last year. Congratulations to Matt this week on the win! Good luck.

Just had a nightmare first round, after a couple of practice rounds both well under par I didn't expect much trouble but my game fell apart, I made 8 pars and bogied the par 5 after hitting a fast downswing on my tee shot which rolled down the bank into the water and then missed a five footer for a par, on the back 9 I started to get it going and made a couple of birdies and was looking for a good finish to the round when I made another 2 bogies and a double, I somehow made birdies at 17 and 18 to finish at +1, I thought I could maybe be in for a top ten finish here because my driving and green stats are usually pretty good but I only hit about half the greens in regulation, man back to the drawing board

You and me both mart280. I wasn’t going to start tonight but had a practice round on default wind and cruised round in -11. Can’t let this form go to waste, so I went straight to the first, the wind was ALOT stronger and I wasn’t able to work the ball to the areas it needs to be. 20ft plus putts on these greens aren’t birdie opportunities. I battled to -3, thinking it couldn’t get any worse I went straight back out. For the second time in one evening I was wrong, stronger wind and a frustrated brain resulted in a birdie on 18 to go round in level par. On the positive though, it’s a great looking course and it makes you think about distances/club choice. Back to the Rookie design course for me. Happy swinging y’all !

I have no explanation or understanding how that's possible. I'm down in CC-C, but I had a similar story (but worse). -3, -3, -9, +4 lol. for a -11 total. My hopes of reaching CC-B are diminishing quickly.
