Oof yeah, if you don't take an unplayable immediately, it won't work. Really? After 5 years of playing TGC I never knew that. Never seemed to get in many situations where I had to even consider an unplayable. TimB if you get into that situation again just click the button that takes you back to the tee. It sucks to play your third from the tips but it gets you out of an impossible situation with the least amount of damage. Just gotta take your medicine...

Taking an unplayable allows you to back up one shot. You play from your last shot - if you hit it into the muck, and take a swing, and THEN take an unplayable - it will back you up to your last shot....the swing from the muck. You're stuck with it at that point.

I like this weeks course even though I dropped 4 shots I made 11 birdies and left an eagle putt an inch from the hole from 70 odd feet and a couple more birdie putts burn the edge of the hole, I could've been well into a sub 60 but thats golf

Once you’re down there just back it up to the tee and play the hole vs. even trying to take a swing from that position.

I think we'll see big scores this week, found the course or certainly R1 easy.
I shot -9, but missed a 4FT straight birdie plus two close eagles. A great start for sure, 2nd on master leader board.
Now need to continue and get a promo mark.

Had it rolling with a -4 through 5 holes start and then couldn't get anything to go the rest of the round... considering the start, ended with e a disappointing -5 round one score. Hopefully the low wind in round 2 helps me recover but i'm guessing a promo mark isn't in the cards for me this week.

Couldn’t get a decent start in my two rounds I was over par both times, going to have to shoot well under to avoid a demo mark. Rd1 -6 after being two over after 5 Rd2 -3 under after being +1 after 1.

Update on my rounds.
R1 -8 R2 - 4 R3 - 7 (I think)
A very mixed middle rounds there, and ruining my chances of a decent score.
In R2, I seemed to hit a VF on the water holes, thus being +3 after the first 3 holes! I played well, just these first few killed me. R3 was much better, but kept missing some simple putts, which is my downfall at the moment. I either hit it very straight, or it just moves to the left.

15 under through 36 holes.... First round: 2 bogeys on the front 9 left me on 1 under at the turn but managed a nice birdie train inbound to finish on 7 under. Second round: Error free & much better front 9, lookin' good at 5 under... could only add 3 more birdies though to end up -8. Another top quality fantasy course this week - well done ddixjr509 .... gimme this type of course all day every day over an RCR.

I was really happy with my debut performance in CC-B last week (-40, my best ever on tour and good enough for third place). So my hopes were high for his week, but unfortunately I made some costly mistakes and had to settle with a final score of -25. My third round sure was a crazy one, particularly the first nine where I had a score of -6 despite a triple bogey on the first hole(!)

A bit surprised by the less than stellar scores out there. I thought it was just me, but maybe this course was harder (or had a harder setup) than I originally thought? Not sure I've ever burned as many edges as I did this week, but just hoping to not get a demotion mark after a -5, -5, -8, +2 showing....

14 stroke difference between Round 1 and Round 2. Nice.

Error free, 10 birds & an eagle on the short par 4, 11th hole meant I was very happy with my 3rd round of 12 under par although; it looks like plenty of players moped up in the easier conditions. . Disappointing final round... Could only muster a -5 giving me an event score of 32 under. Can't see that being enough for a promo mark especially as it was with the Pro club set.

Final round of -8 puts me at -31 for the week
Sitting in 8th place with Masters, hoping I can hold on for the promo mark.
Happy with the way this week turned out after my awful first round.
Abandoned dunes next week. Does anyone have any expirence with this course? I know I've played it a few times but can't remember how it plays.
