How does a course that has a pit where someone can't get out of get put on tour? And how does someone make a course like that?
This course was a sad sad SAD pick for the tour.
Come on, people. Membership with this tour is already struggling and putting crap like this out there isn't helping. Get it together.

Week 3, Geiranger CG, Norway
A tempo challenged week. Made a couple of birdies and a handful of eagles, but too many dropped shots kept good scoring at bay. Rounds 1 and 2, -8 and -5, too many missed greens and fairways Round 3, -15, golfing gods kicked the tempo mosquitos in the nuts, I capitalised Round 4, +1. Golfing gods busy on a different project in another universe, kak tempo all over the place. Hit 3 or 4 balls off the cliff sides. Cannot decide if I just had bad luck in round 4 when 3-4 off tempo shots went oob, perhaps it was fair and I just got lucky in rounds 1 and 2 when all off tempo ones stayed safely on the course As it is, sitting on T102 currently with nobody above me that might not play all 4 rounds, have to decide which one of my green ticks will have to be thrown off the cliff too. I enjoyed the course. Pretty as a picture and kept the interest going for 4 rounds

I have managed to collect four red thingies in the last two weeks due to some controller issues and me panicking about tempo as a result. Scored over par in both tournaments.
So... I thought, what the ****, might as well play the promo tourney this week; fastest way to make those red thingies a distant memory! 😂😂😂
That King Kong course is tricky; wow. Really scared me, so I tried to play smart and safe. I did really enjoy the challenge and I even forgot to worry about tempo as a result. In fact, tempo was fine. Obviously, I still can’t putt and left at least 5-6 shots out there but ended the tournament with -26. 😊
No idea whether it is anywhere near good enough to move up but I am happy; from +1 last week to scoring -26 on a more difficult course makes me smile!!
Now please let me keep this carefree tempo attitude for the regular tourney... 🤞🏻
Best wishes Frans

I'm still clinging on to CC-A with 4 demotion marks and a 106th place finish last week. I suppose if you can't get involved in a promotion battle may as well get your kicks from a relegation battle.

Thought it was a demo mark for finishing 100 or worse? I thought that as well until I checked it out, it's 120-140 = 1 mark, 140-160 = 2 marks and 160+, WD or DQ = 3 marks.

Another tricked up, crappy course. There was yellow within 1 square of the hole on one of my putts. Does anyone even ranger anymore or are people just done with TGCTours?

I didn't take one but it was round 3. That had to have been 18? That pin was a lot worse pre rangering... looks ok to me now.
