Thank goodness for weeks such as this. Casual golf on a not so demanding course. No pins 3 paces on the front of greens with very firm conditions or anything. Even the breaks are subtle and easy to judge!!
If only this was true.. I got through 2 and a half this morning and its tough. Round 3 is just survival mode and st bedes was popping up in my head as a more casual links experience.
If you dont look at the pin before hitting your tee shot, this course will stymie you even in the fairway. To win here you have to be as smart as the guy who built it, and have the hottest putter on the tour. Not having seen rd 4 conditions I predict a few scores in the 50s.
Perhaps the best test of the mental game I've seen.
