Put me down as unsure Euro master clubs Xbox.
I love the tours, and really can’t see the top 3 tours not using the most difficult set of clubs masters. But if they changed to pro, I would give it a go, but feel I would lose interest fast. Then most likely stop playing.
Again I hope, and believe they will not remove the most difficult clubs from the game if they want true separation in skill levels. Which is what drives me in this game, to play the best at the most difficult level. I say this as an Xbox player. Please keep masters on the top 3 tours!

i still don't get why Pro clubs would be enforced on everyone, the best players are always going to be the best players, if pro clubs are supposed to be the great leveler, then just allow any clubset to be used on any tour (apart from BGT) The idea of forcing Pro clubs is not about making the game easier. It's about making the tours fair (and accepting "easier" as a consequence) across platforms since data suggests XBox players are at a severe disadvantage with Masters, but not so with Pro.

Changing club sets all the time might be a deal breaker.

If the decision to make Pro Clubs mandatory is implemented it would make the playing field more even. I can't understand why anyone would quit playing the Tours if everyone was on the same level and didn't have a distinct advantage because of the platform they play on

I also have voiced my opinion that Master Clubs should still be allowed and if anything, they should be the “forced” club to use considering this is a COMPETITIVE league! However, I see the argument being made as to why it may be pro clubs moving forward. At the very least, once you reach Web and above Master Clubs SHOULD be the set that is preferred. As for switching back between pro and masters in other societies? That doesn’t bother me nearly as much ( although all my societies are Master club club only) because I view TGCTOURS as THE number 1 society in importance anyway.

Not the actual change but the club behave different. Master club were given more spin and pro clubs have more roll out. It was meant to equalize the sets somewhat. Pros are easier to hit but harder to stick.

I wanted it to be able to change from Master Club setups. Sometimes I like having a lob wedge in the bag (shorter courses) and other times pull it out and drop in a longer wood/hybrid. At the moment, I'm leaving the Lob Wedge at home bc i got tired of swapping clubs.

Masters user here....
I wouldn’t leave, but being shackled with a less challenging golf experience would greatly diminish my enjoyment of my TGCT membership.

I'm all for whatever keeps the most people playing, and would stick around and adjust, but I would hope that you would have the option to use Master clubs in lieu of Pro Clubs, AND/or a tour for Master club users. I think both these would be a decent middle ground. Personally, I'm with others in thinking that the pro tours need to be harder, not easier. And I don't mean the courses! Good lord, some of them are insanely challenging enough (for my skill level). But, maybe there should discussion (another thread/survey?) regarding other settings such as scout cam, green grids, club selection, ball marker, etc. Just my personal opinion. Something to consider. If pro clubs are indeed easier, is it going to increase scoring? There are already some incredible scores being posted with Master clubs, even on TST. Pro Clubs could make it worse and even inadvertently turn people off when they realize they have to shoot Tiger Woods scores just to make a cut. Again, I'm all for whatever keeps the most people playing. This site is literally the only reason I play this [abandoned] game (reminds me of Links, in a way - Take 2 Interactive). Without this site, this game would have ZERO replay value for me.

Can a PGA player, who can play masters OK, request to drop down to CC to play Pro?

Color me crazy, but those Xbox players using Masters clubs can easily decide to drop to Pro without involving the entire community. Currently not allowed on Web.com, Euro and PGA Tours. Once you reach those tours you shouldn’t be allowed to drop down to Pro anyways. Master Clubs should mandatory( which it is I know) regardless. Obviously the Xbox players that made it to those tours are good enough to begin with.
