For once i am in total agreement with Paul. Wait, what now? Everyone's opinion's on this seems so valid to me - there are very few bogus arguments in this debate. My mind is finally made up tho... by the count at the the top... if the ratio is expanded to the entire player base (likely not a valid assumption!), then the cost would be too high. Way too high.

Played the first few weeks of the season, missed a week and then didn't get around to playing again the rest of the season, so I don't fit this poll. Qualified Web out of Q-School so I'm a forced master clubs user. There are a few reasons why I'm not playing the Tour events, both clubset related and otherwise.
Is there a chance I'd return if pro clubs were required? I think I'd give it a shot for a few weeks and see how it feels, but I can't guarantee I'd stay full time. Do I think this is a good idea? I see big pros and just as big cons, so it would certainly be the most risky of the possible ideas being thrown around. I'm not against it but I don't think it's a super idea either. I also don't think the poll results were enough in favour of forced pro clubs for it to be receiving serious consideration from the powers-that-be to actually make the change. It would create more problems than it solves.

Former pgaer top 25wgr here and I hopped the fence after joining BCT. My new rivals play on *gasp* xbox and PC.
#fairplay over my way
A level playing field is the best way forward for the tours CHANGE MY MIND

I think if all the tours went to pro I’d probably start back on the road to pga

You two chaps would sit in the "No (pro clubs user)" group.

Unsure (Masters club user here). I would probably make TST my main focus if that were implemented, though. That assumes TST wouldn't follow suit, but if they did, then I am unsure what I would do at all. Same.

I haven't played consistently on the tours in ages but I would probably come back to playing weekly if this were to happen.

I’m a pc player playing master clubs. If there was no place at all on the tours at all where i could use master clubs, i would (sadly) quit the tours. If there was a side tour where i could play master clubs (like the beginner tour) i’d play in that.
Spraying it around with master club is half the fun for me. I’ve got no interest in hitting every fairway and green with pro clubs, doesn’t feel like golf to me.

I am in CC-A and use Master Clubs; I made the switch from Pro Clubs about three months ago and I would be really disappointed if I was 'forced' to go back to Pro. Back in the day, I used to play Links by Access (later taken over by Microsoft who ultimately ruined it) and I remember having to shoot -20 or better each and every round to be somewhat competitive; sometimes you would be on the 16th tee and make your first par* and know you had lost the tournament... I would hate to see this Tour go that route.
Would I leave if Pro was 'forced'; probably not, I just like playing this Tour too much. Would it make it much less fun for me; yes.
Best wishes, Frans
*not that I can still score like that; I used to be able to do that but these days I am 'old' and have too many other things going on in life to put in enough hours to get to that level in TGC. However, after starting again a year ago, I do like being back in online golf land and I enjoy the challenge of trying to put a decent score together with Masters Clubs.

There maybe a group who would rejoin or join if it was only one clubset?

I have voted to carry on playing if Pro was enforced (Only ever used Masters), but never played a single shot with Pro so no idea what it’s like.
If it’s a bore fest, it might make me think twice, but I value these tours more than a club choice, I hope!

No ( pro club xbox)
New to game so still working on distances and struggle with tempo on putting (crazy three putts couple times a round kill).
Tried masters and really struggled but suppose if I get the above issues nailed then I would change....just not yet.

i still don't get why Pro clubs would be enforced on everyone, the best players are always going to be the best players, if pro clubs are supposed to be the great leveler, then just allow any clubset to be used on any tour (apart from BGT) Just imagine if all the people that enjoy playing with master clubs (myself included) were forced to play PRO clubs on tour and therefore were only able to use Masters in normal society events only... people would soon get annoyed continually changing clubs and learning 2 sets of yardages etc
Me personally, yes i would still play. because i enjoy these TOURS, but it would not be the same, my satisfaction comes from putting up a good score on the hardest clubset, but then again i am not as competitive as others

I would still play the tour using Pro Clubs, but I like the challenge of Masters. What I do not want, since I play in other Masters Societies, is to switch back and forth - that really screws up my game.
