What is it that makes the Xbox swing so hard to get perfect downswing? What I would like to know, is it the Xbox itself that makes the swing harder, or is it the stock Xbox controller? If it is the controller then perhaps there are some third-party controllers that would work better. I don't mean ones that would invoke an API violation, but just more like the PS4 controller. I know there is a third-party controller available for the PS4 that has configuration of an Xbox controller, is there a vice-versa?

To the people who want to enforce pro clubs 2 questions. When you use a bike do you have stabilizers? When you go bowling do you use the rails? No one is asking for the game to be easier for the sake of making it easier. People are being asked whether they will accept the game being easier as a consequence of the game being made more fair. To use the bowling analogy, no one's asking for the rails; we're just asking whether we all should play the house shot instead of having some players on Cheetah while others are on Shark.

Lets get the advice of a pro: Hey SweetTeeBag when you downloaded it on Xbox the other month how did it feel compared to PS4? Did you have to adjust your swing to get a perfect downswing and did you try anything other than a stock xbox controller?

How it should be on PlayStation 4 master clubs. I remember Doyley had a post up at the percentage of people that hit perfect perfect every shot on their tour rounds and it was like zero. I believe compared to a lot higher number on PlayStation 4. My suggestion was to have Xbox players use pro clubs while playstation players had to use master clubs on tour. It seemed only fair

I don’t want to force pro clubs on anyone, but the option to be able to play pro clubs is necessary (at least on lower tours) No No And question for you: when you go bowling, do you get 20 fps and stutter your way through your roll? (Or whatever it’s called, I don’t bowl much)

It seemed only fair The problem with this choice would be that ps4 players (and even PC players like me, in a minor measure) would have always a pretty huge advantage on distance. The problem is that master clubs on ps4 works as pro clubs for Xbox and (a bit less) for PC players, but having also the better spin and the greater distance available. And trust me, please, this is not an accuse or a complaint..is just a fact. I played with my bro's ps4, I saw it with my eyes. And I repeat what I already said somewhere else. The difficulty level using master clubs on ps4 is more or less actually the same I face playing with pro clubs on PC. I can't imagine how hard it can be on xbox, but this is the situation and the problem we should to solve, as far as I saw. Is not a matter of debates and tastes. There's no chance to solve or to equalize the gap between systems using master clubs. These are the facts. Every decision should be made accepting this simple reality.

(To be more precise, I forgot to say in my last post that I play on PC, but using a ps4 controller (I dislike strongly the shape of the Xbox controller. Habits, I suppose). And the game for me is not too hard even with master clubs. But hearing the complaints of Xbox players, I suppose big part of the issue is in the greater sensitivity of the Xbox controller, much more than in the system. So I suppose that who plays the game on PC using a Xbox controller has much more difficulties than me).

I have a scuff elite for the Xbox and a couple brand new stock controllers. The scuff is much harder to hit straight but the tempo is a little easier to control. Meaning I can swing harder with the scuff and not get a VF swing which feels more realistic. The stock controllers are very easy to hit straight but I have to swing to light to get fast or perfect. Feels odd and it's boring.
There is a few people on Xbox who believe that the fps is the cause of the tempo issues. It can be very noticeable on certain courses, holes and or swings. I have posted about it with pictures of bandwidth usage and the loading icon going nuts. If this is true I doubt HB will ever fix it. Not sure it's something they can fix. Minus dumbing down the game.
I really enjoy the game on Xbox. I'm glad i have the hardest platform but I get why people would get frustrated. I have been in the top 5 on TST a couple times and have missed the cut or end up in the bottom 50. Like this week I'm third on Xbox but 49th. Although my poor play had nothing to do with tempo. It was all putting.
Anyway my guess is the tempo issues are partly the controller and the FPS. Unless someone gets a FPS monitor and tests it out between all three platforms we will never know for sure. I emailed digital foundry but no response lmao.

I only played with master clubs on Xbox one and it is way too hard. How it should be on PlayStation 4 master clubs. My suggestion was to have Xbox players use pro clubs while playstation players had to use master clubs on tour. It seemed only fair Burton - Two comments on your three statements: On the first statement - It is easy for a three-time PGA champ to say that the game should be harder; for the rest of us mere mortals that would mean we just wouldn't want to play anymore. On the second - Would the Xbox players using Pro clubs be happy with loss of distance and spin relative to Masters clubs if they used Pro clubs?

It may be true I am a 3 time PGA winner but those 3 wins are from TGC1 back in 2016-2017. I haven't sniffed a win in 2 years for either of the last 2 games.
On the second point I put a suggestion up to try this in the Special Events section for trial runs. You could do Pro clubs on all systems for an event as well and see how it plays out. This is all merely a suggestion.

If the game was that much harder on master clubs then players could use pro clubs instead. I'm guessing if that was the case we would have separate tours anyway for master and pro as the lower ranked master players wouldn't be able to compete with the best pro club players.
