I did some big elevation in my first course. What I thought worked well was to plan ahead and try to lift all the land up at one time with the fuzzy brush really big. Measure out where you want the hole and raise the entire area at one time. Then you can go back through and make little changes as necessary

Struggling with a Par 5 that need to go up a hillside with 100ft of elevation. Has anyone any good examples or videos/tips? Thanks in advance I have a par5 (hole 8) on my Stony Point GC course that was roughly 86ft or so up, I know it's not 100, but may give you some ideas to get past your designer block..

Thanks for the reply, looking at your 'Completed course thread' photo of Hole 8, you've climbed gradually up the hill, because of the main plot feature in my course is adjacent to the hill i'm going to need a turn or two, i don't want to step up the hillside either. I'll post a screen shot later of the hill i'm trying (HAVE TO) to climb!

Remind me was that Katmandu? It was, specifically hole 1. Long downhill par 5. I believe it plays about 100 ft down as well. I made that hill before I laid any holes

A bit happier with it today, but suggestions gratefully received....... Reducing the hill by going left then right, with a risky tree/bunker carry if you're brave

That looks smooth from a distance. No real ledges that stand out as unnatural, but tough to tell without seeing close.
There is such thing as "spam sculpting" too, like spam planting. Speedy clicks, with very gradual raise or lowering of the land while moving up or down (or side to side) of the land. It is all about keeping it consistent which is looks like you've done from that tee shot.
