Thoughts on what a good score and a winning score will be on this course and conditions? Good = double what I shoot Winning = Triple what I shoot!
Sorry, have only played a handful of rounds the past couple of weeks so I'm setting the bar real low

What a sad-sad season for me.. Started off in Q School playing out of my mind and making the PGA somehow.. From there it was letdown after letdown.. Even when I did make a cut on PGA - Euro which was rare, I was always near the bottom of the leaderboard after round 4.. This final event pretty much summed up the season.. Could not get anything going in round 1.. I finally got frustrated after hitting great shots that turned out to be bad (I hate greens designed like these).. Hit a good shot with a long iron or wood and it reaches the green and just keeps going and going and going until gone.. OR, you had a short iron into the green and it comes up 10 yards short (you think it's perfect) only to not make it up the hill to the pin.. Pins on mounds suck and designers keep nailing us with this crap..
The best part about my sad two rounds is that I know I don't have to play the course two more times..
Good luck everyone and see you next season..

Super course...one of my favorites in the game...so I'm crossing my fingers I make the weekend. Hit the ball fine except for one swimmer, but couldn't make ANY shorter left to right putts. -16 through 2. Cut watching.

I was on a tear in round one after being -5 after 6 holes. Then it was either 7 or 8 I landed on the green, rolled toward the hole and the ball took a wicked left and rolled down the hill towards the water. Chip number one lands short and rolls back to my feet. Flop number 1 lands 3 feet shy of hole but too much back spin rolls ball just behind my feet. Finally flop two stays up. That double drops me to -3 and I finish the first rnd at -4. Very disappointing round. The rest of the course left me with near misses at the cup and approaches that just didn’t hold.

I love the course but some of those greens are certainly very hard to hold. Through 2 rounds, first round was one of those nearly rounds, in that I nearly shot -10 but actually shot a disappointing -5! So many near misses. Second round I started hot and birdied 7 of the first 8, derailed by a VF on 9 and a dropped shot, closely followed by another at 11. Just couldn't get it going after that. Holed a nice birdie putt on 16 and made a nice up and down for another on 18 to give myself a glimmer of hope of two more rounds, but it's only a glimmer. Not sure it'll quite get to -16 but I'm probably a couple short. 65 and 63 for -12 at half way.

Round one in the books. Could have been special, but slowed down on the back 9 and missed a shot badly on #18. Bogey free -12 to start. My guess would be something around -46 to win, and the cut will be somewhere around -14. As long as I can keep it around -8 in the next few rounds I should give myself enough landing strip to be around for the Championship rounds.
Considering I have been between (1) demotion and (4) promotion marks and spent the entire year on the European Tour, I will take that.

I'm playing as well as I ever have tee to green, but can't sink putts for the life of me. Reckon I'm losing 3/4 strokes every round on the greens at least compared to average. -4/-9 for -13 and likely cut Feel like I'm hitting it close very often, just not making anything.

Course is very gettable on the front 9 in round 2.
I played like garbage to finish at -11 (-7; -4). Glad my season is over. I can't compete for anything but a made cut in these tournaments, need a break.
Good luck to those with rounds remaining.

I'll see you in ur society, the tips! It could have been worse....at least we weren't playing the Predator That course was tough!!! I'm sitting on -7 now and didn't play well, so I'm a bit concerned with round 2. I feel I will need a -9 to feel safe.

Good luck in round 2! -6 or so on the front 9 is definitely in the cards with no bad timing on the downswing. The Predator (and Predator Two) is a beast. Would love to see the PGA guys play that one for four rounds. Then again, they have a really tough one this week in Blackheart Cove.

I’m gutted. I played really well the last two weeks, and just could not play these greens. Nice shots turned into bad shots. I tried to play for the action on the green, but when I played right of the hole to allow for role out I’d get a slow and land off the green. Play left ...fast and same result. Hit a nice shot and roll off or miss the putt.
Very disappointed as this course just didn’t fit me at all. Good luck to the rest of u and see you next season.
-7 -5 -12 at my last cut!
