Just when you though it was safe to return to the golf course, Oregon Trail 2 Ruins at Otarre Pointe. You survived the trail, battered by the wind, physically exhausted from the walk, mentally exhausted from the ever changing conditions, you reach the Oregon coast with joy in your heart and a spring in your step. But hope is soon shattered as a strong coastal breeze gusts through the jagged and hilly landscape. There is not a flat spot in sight to rest your wary bones, elevation changes once again test your patience knowing that going of the beaten path will be a struggle to get back to the safety of green. For some this is the end, the final resting spot of their web.com career. For others, hope, the hope of being in the top 70 and moving away from Oregon, the hope of being one of the top 30 richest people on the web.com and buying their way into the next round of the play offs. There are two cutlines this week, the event and the money list, which cutline will you make? Will your skill propel you to The Heritage next week? Or will you buy your way there. Good luck everyone and have fun. This weeks course was designed by Danny Vaughn, also known as XJ_Jagman . Where I come from, going on a jag means going on a date where let’s say certain body contact will be happening, and here we have a person called jagman. Which roughly means a man that jags, which roughly means a professional jagger, which roughly means he gets paid for his services. Yes, the web.com is proud to present, the first ever course to be used on tgctours designed and created by a gigolo. You got to admire a man that finds time to please the ladies as well as design golf courses, give it up people for this weeks designer, Danny Vaughn.

Traveling this week so I had to get out the gate early.
Since it’s the playoffs I tried to take my time with every shot and make it count. Round 1 I was on point with most of my drives and approaches but I missed every putt by just inches. I must have had 11-14 birdie putts but only shot -4, very frustrating.
My method was working though so I stuck to my guns and came back in round 2 with a great -12.
Sitting at -16 through 36 holes and I hope it’s enough for the cut! I feel like this is an easy course and wouldn’t be surprised to see the cut at -18 or -19.

Could not get too much going first round and ended up at -4. Second round went the same way except for a burst in the middle of the round which helped me get to -8. Really hope -12 is enough to make it to the weekend! That may not be enough, but the significant elevation changes from tee to green and slopes on the greens may keep the scores from going wild. We shall see and good luck to all!

hmammoth well, I must say that I've never quite looked at the name XJ_Jagman in that sense (you learn something new everyday). Just to clear the air (and possibly my reputation from such conclusions), I've been a huge fan of Jaguar, the automaker, since I was a kid. I am most fond of the "XJ" model that existed in its purest form until Ford screwed it up with their good ideas of what a classic luxury car should look like.

Had to get all 4 rounds in today and all 4 were very similar where I basically torched the front 9 and had to hang on for dear life on the back. That back was brutal...especially 13 where that’s about the only hole that I just did not agree with but overall great challenging course. Shot -6, -7, -7, -8 for a -28 overall....could have been better could have been worse

2 completely different first 2 rounds. -3 and -12. First round I didn't actually swing bad but putting speed let me down. Putted a few times too hard and off the green costing me bogeys. Second round good swing and better putting and also scrambling every time. Have to play other 2 rounds tomorrow cause I'm going away for a few days so we'll see how that goes.

My teen kids are back from summer camp- which means an end to my TGC2019 lag free summer. Hopefully, I'm able to kick them out of the house for a few hours before Thursday. Otherwise a dart throwing contest with lag turns into a controller aerodynamic testing event.

Will our end of season events, especially tour championship, be covered by NBC, Golf channel, etc? I'd like to see a golf analyst breakdown the thumb mechanics of my swing. I feel strongly about this.

-9 first round (1 eagle,7 birdies) -6 second round (7 birdies, 1 bogey)
Sitting comfortably -15 at the cutline
And that’s all I really care about these first 2 weeks, moving on! Really like this knockout style playoff format, the ‘do or die’ of it all.

I feel strongly about this. Unfortunately NBC and the Golf channel made to many demands for the play offs to be featured. They demanded, I waive my administrative fees, disgraceful I know but what can I do, cancel my end of season world cruise.

-3 for round 3. - 3 for round 4 (official score was +2 but I can't count the 9 on the last hole cause of the unfair green.) Don't worry next time I'll flop it without thinking if I see such green again. So that makes - 21 total. Till next week.
