I have not done much searching on the subject, but nothing has popped out. I am trying to build a tennis court for my Mini Golf design contest entry, and the only way I can find to put lines down on the court is to use the white OB markers rotated until flat and slightly lowered (a little of the OB still shows). Doing this works, but it is INCREDIBLY tedious. Has anyone of you designers come across a better solution?

jwtexan did one on The Loops that looked pretty sweet. I believe he used sunken brick walls?? just a guess though

OB stakes isnt a bad idea, but shockingly those stupid little stakes take up a good amount of object meter. I don't think anyone zooms in enough to see "OB" on the stake. We understand the limitations of the designer. I used stone walls on The Loops as the tops are white and straight and square. I guess you could also try to create a third surface if there is some kind of white concrete available? Or winter theme of some kind? No matter what you choose it is unfortunately going to be tedious, as lining up the stone walls was not fun at all to make them even. Going to tag mayday_golf83 to ask what he did on Necedah Pines for his many many tennis courts.

What about the white fencing with the flat top?

Ive built one before, I used the brick walls with the cement flat tops... sinking the wall to the ground just seeing that top part

Ive built one before, I used the brick walls with the cement flat tops... sinking the wall to the ground just seeing that top part That’s exactly what I did. It’s a little wider than actual tennis lines but that’s OK. You’re going for the illusion of painted lines so some slight exaggeration is OK, especially because the courts are meant to be seen from a distance away from the golf playing area. The tedious part is marking out the proper dimensions and making sure you are square. That takes some futzing to do a/ the measue tool, but if you can triangulate, you’ll be OK.

Played a course tonight that had one with the white fence, with the pointy support poles

I did find that one can use the white single railing fence (I think bottom left on the fence menu) and sink it. It still shows little connector parts but is much easier that the OB stakes The outer boundaries of the court are still the OB stakes because I was too lazy to change them over, but the rest of the lines are fencing.

This is a very timely subject for me. I just started laying out the courts for the tennis center at Colonial last night. I opted for the single rail as well. You can barely see the first court that I started on the left.
