Struggling a bit for time so will play R3 alone. Jamima can add my ghost and play in turn order if he likes once he has enabled saving of past streams on Mixer 👍 I prefer Janice. That's what Habs calls me.

And about the female golfer...It's like saying that masters clubs are easier than pros because you can potentially score better. That's obtuse thinking to me. I don't agree with that logic.

Alright guys, just published BS Beta. Give it a try, and let me know what you think. Interested in opinions as there is a lot going on with it. Haven't tried SIM settings or wind. Choose one of the back two tee sets with the second one in being the most fun and plenty difficult. I usually don't play fantasy courses anymore (I have lost interest a long time ago) - but since you posted here I played some holes so I could give you feedback from a golfer. Played pin 2 back tee. The Blue Tee would have offered you a much better experience as the back tee was only added to have a shot at getting used for the top tour. With that said, I think the Blue tees would be great for the top tour as well. I have just noticed that most courses chosen for TGCT PGA are "gamey" and stretched out.1: This is typical of almost all fantasy/fictional courses; you place hazards, narrowing of the fairways, bunkers at the driving distance from the back tee that the game gives you (master clubs). This makes the course "gamey" and not realistic. When hazards and bunkers are placed on real courses - there is alot more into consideration - because there is a much wider range of golfers that the designer needs to think about. The problem with such gamey design is that it not only feels and is unrealistic, but it gets repetitive. See response to the above statement.2: The course is generaly too long and lacks variety. You have the short 12th, and a couple of short par 4's, but no par 5 is reachable - and in general there is too many long par 3's and par 4's. It is quite okay with a couple of unreachable par 5's, but a good course should have at least one or two that is reachable. The Blue tees offer much more variety, and the par 5's run in different directions and depending on wind there would be one to three that are reachable from the blue tees.3: The greens on some of the long holes are not suited for long approaches - I took notice most on some par 3's, but in general I think you have good greens. With a more variety in distance on the holes, these greens will work very well. The 12th is in that sense perfectly fine. It is starting to feel like I should delete the gold tees. 4: I miss some surroundings - roads, houses etc. This is important for me to get the feel that I play a real course for my immersion. Perfect. I was really considering a housing development around the bend on the back 9, and due to this suggestion I think I will take a shot at it.
Thank you so much for the play and feedback. The gold tees are almost 7900 yards, and certainly not the type of golf that I would prefer. It makes the course a bit easier from the tee, but it really makes the greens not fit some of the approach shots. My goal is to get the course on the PGA tour, so I felt it necessary to create the additional tees. To me, the course sets up beautifully and is a nice blend of challenge and strategy from the blue tees. Cheers to coming up with a name and adding a few roads, driveways, and housing. Thanks again for the play and feedback.

Another solid round for me in the 3rd. I am really enjoying the trip around Pebble. Very solid play from me has me sitting a shot in front of James on PS4. Booze had a lead on me but I didn't see him on the 3rd round leaderboard, and I didn't let Rob run away and hide with his spectacular 3rd round.
-9 -8 -10
Looking forward to a likely -7 in the 4th round based on my pattern. The optimist in me thinks it could be -11 though.

stoneysoonerFeedback tends to be more on the points that I think can be improved upon rather than what is good. You have a good course in general, and in my opinion - greens are the most important, and they are good. And a challenging course don't need to be 7900 yards. All in all, you have good variation in fairway width - not only open wide or very narrow. Variation in doglegs, etc. And, from my experience on online golf play in games like this - the majority wants to shoot very unrealistic low scores - so very challenging courses to try to get realistic scores are going to be met by complaints. From the little I have read on the PGA forum - this is the case here as well. If not, all the players would want to turn off the aids etc. On the online tours on Links 2003 for example - there was a very small minority that played on champ difficulty - the vast majority was on pro difficulty and shot under -60 there as well. So I wouldn't be so concerned with making the courses unrealistic difficult. Make good courses for golf and don't get hanged up in the video game

Did not shoot well at all, but hit two 25 foot putts, a 35 footer, and a flop eagle from heavy rough on 14. Some stressful par saves too. Was going to finish out but then I saw very high wind, just didn’t have it in me to battle that right now lol.

Pebble Beach, has to be my favorite course. Would absolutely love to play it IRL. I was back and forth with Leon on the leaderboard in the first 2 rounds. R1 (-5) R2 (-6). I'm sitting at (-11) at the halfway mark.

With the world matchplay coming up it will be cool to know where all our members are from(which country you like to represent and why you play USE) . Top 16 of the standings will qualify for Wentworth and our world matchplay. As Anders suggests it will be great to have real names also on the Leaderboard and to give us that authentic feeling. Mark has done alot of hard work on our points structure and has left me with the simple task of filling in our season results. Been a bit tied up since being back from Florida but promise it will get back on track.

I play USE for many reasons, but I really respect the honesty, honor and approach to a realistic game this society gives me. I play these rounds slower than my normal rounds, and it is much more immersive and I look forward to the rounds each week. As a former golf professional, the closer we can get to the IRL game I love, the better for me. I would love to play live turn-based, but I don't have PlayStation Plus and my work schedule will likely not allow for it.

Love playing use, the only thing I miss is the in flight camera view and watching your shots finish especially the rare good ones, but I can play TST for that. USE seems to take away the pressure of deciding which club to play and also holing putts that you think you must make when using grids. Thanks to all of you that run this society look forward to these rounds every week Good and Bad

Leon keet UK
Not really a patriotic person, my parents aren't from the UK and I don't really agree with patriotism, where you're born is just luck (mini "politics" rant over) BUT I do find the Ryder cup really fun and engaging, so would enjoy "representing" Europe if we could get the right numbers for that.
(I suggest adding all non Americans to Europe, or could just make it Ryder cup/president's cup mash up event)

Ray Morgan Australia - The greatest country on the planet.
Love my country, love sport, played rep golf for my club, rep football (Aussie Rules) as a junior, rep cricket as an adult. Due to my health issues (the c word and heart trouble) I can’t play sport any more so use this game to satisfy my competitive urges. It’s no surprise to anyone that knows me that I’m volatile on a sporting field, I’m one of those people that gets the best out of myself when I’m wired as opposed to most people that lose performance when they get steamed.
USE is my no.1 society because it’s as close to real golf as it gets and most importantly - I trust and respect the people in this society to play the game the right way. The fact most of us are transparent in broadcasting and can watch each other’s rounds is a big thing for me as well - it means I can be watching when I’m stuck in a hospital or unable to play.
Will play anyone on PC or XB live if I qualify and it can be organised.
