Rubbish second round, -15 at cut, if I make it then I’m -37 at the finish, 57 third round was fun Sitting 2 back from you at the cut. I also threw up a 57 in the 3rd round...and finished -33. Hope that 57 doesn't come back to haunt us

Lol, welcome to the Euro Tour! The first 9 holes playing in to a hurricane with no number on the wind meter (I'd forgotten about that bit!). Remarkably similar round to my two CCA friends who made the same jump. Started with a bogey, probably looking like a rabbit caught in headlights as I'm staring at my TV, WTF is this?! Gave my head a good wobble and played a lovely approach in to 2 to get the shot back straight away. There we go, that's better, we're back (I say to my imaginary caddie - my wife is very proud). The rest of the front nine is a battle, but an enjoyable one. No dropped shots and a couple of birds at 7 and 8 and I reach the turn at -2. Back 9 I thought would be with the wind, that would make sense wouldn't it after the battering of the front? Well some were at least but not as many (it seemed) as the opposite. Drove the ball pretty well but my execution in up and down range wasn't good enough for this level. Most notably at 11 where I 3-putted for par, fairly inexcusable on 144's. But still, played some nice shots and didn't drop any, 4 birds coming home to card a -6 64. Will need to do better but it could have been a lot worse. It really is good to be back! Good luck all TROWELHEAD leading the Euro, ijs1543 waiting to pounce, have I time warped back to 2016?..

TROWELHEAD leading the Euro, ijs1543 waiting to pounce, Andre bottom after R1, have I time warped back to 2016?.. All that's missing is Regis and Zito along with the accusations that they're the same person, wouldn't happen these days though would it from any French players? plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose (the more things change, the more they stay the same).

So happy to have made the move from the Web before it gets renamed the Korn hole tour. Got lucky first few rounds in high winds had a good feel for it and shot -9 rd 1 and -9 rd 2. Fingers crossed -18 gets me passed the cut. Looking forward and hoping to stick around and avoid demotion marks.

Spent most of last season on the Euro but only managed to get a place on the Web after the mass Q School, been down there for the last 35 weeks, it,s been great for sure, so it,s nice to be back should my stay be long or short, opened up with a 62 -8 even with a few nervy twitches here and there, mid table finish this week will suit me fine.

Second round done. Started with a second consecutive bogey at 1, this time courtesy of a bonehead 3-putt. Got it back to -3 at the turn and then birdied 10 and 11 to get to -5 but gave another shot back at 12. Another 3 birdies in a row and I'm -7 on the 16th tee thinking one or two more might do it. And then the tempo demons hit. 3 perfect drives but a very slow on approach to 16, a very fast to 17 and then a fast to 18 meant I was scrambling pars rather than looking at the birdies I needed. Frustrating. -7 63 to sit -13 thru 2, I have a feeling that's one or two short.

Played round 2 last night, and caught fire. Played myself right back into this thing. The scoring is out there in round 2 as it felt like the pins and the winds combined to leave me with a lot of good yardages. After an opening -7, my stellar round 2 has me sitting pretty at -21 for snip day.

Started out slow after being on vacation and not playing for a week. Even on the front nine, then turned it on with -6 on the back. Entered some sort of fugue state in round two and shot -13 with no memory of the round other than missing a 10 footer for birdie and making a sloppy bogey. Apparently had 14 birdies somehow.
-19 heading into the weekend and maybe a shot at my first top 20. Glad to be consistently making cuts.
Edit - Shot -15 on the weekend to finish at -34. Borderline top 20, we'll see.

After a -2 on the first 9, that probably should’ve been +2, managed to turn the corner quickly on the back to get to -8. Then played extremely well the rest of the way. Aside from a little struggle in round 4, got it to -42. Would imagine that will be in contention, I guess time will tell. Haven’t had much time for the forums or playing the game for a while, so thrilled with the result.

Spent the year on web.com tour, not doing that great, missing a cut a week ago. I play a promotion event, first time playing one, and I'm promoted? Doesnt feel like I earned my place here, lol.

As I suspected, -13 looks to be a couple short. At least I've still got a good feel for where the cut is!
Not overly disappointed. Didn't play too badly, just done by a few bad swings at bad times and two poor 3-putts. I've played all but the last 6 holes of round 4 just to try and get used to the wind meter. Seem to be ok on 12mph and under but I think I'm underestimating stronger winds.
Not a great start for any of the three of us CCAers who made it here but hopefully we all avoid a strike. Got to start somewhere! I'll be happy just to make a few cuts for the rest of this season, I think I can do that.
Haven't got the time to play the Open Qualifier this week, probably not a bad thing. See you next week!

Cut by 2 strokes. I had tempo issues in both rds. And I missed 2 easy putts that were inside 7 ft. The wind mph missing wasn't the issue, which I thought it would be. Its all on me this time. First pro event jitters led to ✂ ✂ ✂
